We would have our favorite animal discussions (mine being the Okapi), talk about expansion pack ideas, and whatever crossed our minds. Best days of my life. Still hanged out with him all these years, we barely remembered those days. Time passed away, last year he got brain cancer. I wanted to play this game with him, but you know, money is not the same as when you are a kid. He passed away a month ago, and those memories are only mine today. This game and Spore really got us together, and this music sends me to other place. I miss you, Gianluca. Thanks for all those days.

Jason Voorhees it’s PC only, so as far as optimization goes it should be similar or improved upon from planet coaster. Jurassic World Evolution in my opinion was an outlier for the studio as they were heavily restricted by Universal to create Universal’s game, not Frontiers game. Also JWE had to be dumbed down to fit well on consoles which sacrificed PC specs we were hoping for from planet coaster
But it looks like Zoo tycoon will pass the baton to Planet Zoo... As with all good franchises (Simcity classic-societies, RCT 1-3), Another party is coming to find the idea and run with it.
After all the games I played after and before I played this as a kid with all their shooting slicing and stabbing, puzzle solving jumping and exploring, this remains to be one of my most favorite games of all time especially after I discovered the extensive modding community it has. it's amazing really.

So how does planet zoo hold up for you? For me its a bit too complicated at times and the buikding mechanic is very......time consuming. But everything about the animals is great, i just wish we had aquatic animals and dinosaurs. But that what jurassic world 2 is for i guess....

Ah man, I remember my favorite memory from this game was when I would close a bare zoo, put a bunch of wolves, moose and bears on the forest biome to simulate a natural environment and I would go on first person mode and roleplay as a wolf alongside the other animals, good times.
