Everyone loves to talk about how Planet Coaster is so graphically impressive compared to RCTW, but one thing they often forget about, is the music. Here, we don’t have the cheesy fairground organs, or carnival style that RCTW loves to use. This is a beautifully composed song amongst a beautifully composed soundtrack. The type of feel good song you’d love to hear when you first walk into an amusement park, that whimsical feeling of exploring the scenery and riding the rides. This song captures all of that. It’s what makes Planet Coaster amazing. There’s actual care and pride when creating this game. The graphics, the music, the feeling, and of course, the gameplay.
The one thing I love most about Planet Coaster is how the music just seems like it was composed purely to inspire creativity in its users. It also reminds me of the time I used one of the rides to trap a bunch of parkgoers on an island and blasted the cheesiest pop song ever at them using fifty speakers
When I'm feeling down, I sometimes just launch Planet Coaster knowing this song will welcome me into another world. Coming from a person recovering from severe depression, the way the music brings you into your own little world just relieves all the stress and anxiety of the day.
Imagine this with OG rollecoaster tycoon, still hold the best of my memories, and the game mechanics of that dude were off the charts, same for TTD, mastermind. Man what a feeling when you first open up forest frontier and kids laugh, then it starts to rain, a those little people use their umbrellas. 20 years ago, or more, love it
Somehow while I was listening to this it brought me back to my first time at Disneyland and experiencing the wonder. The middle of the song gets slower and slightly somber and made me realize I had lost that wonder. Then it picks right back up to happy and faster pace and made me realize I need to take my kids to Disneyland as soon as they are old enough to remember

Barely played the game at all (mainly because building paths being such a pain) but merely the experience of loading this up for the first time and the song playing was already worth the (not low!) buy price.
There is just something so relaxing about this music, I love it! Even if everything is going wrong like coasters flying off rails or people vomiting everywhere this still puts you in a relaxed, optimistic mood and I just love it for that!
