We're having fun this week by highlighting four of the most incredible machines I've had the fortune of checking out over the past few years!
First, we have the largest dredge in North America, the Dredge New York, operated by Great Lakes Dock and Dredge.
Second, we head to Alberta, Canada, to check out some of the heaviest haul in the world, thanks to the Canadian oil sands. The Albertans do it different...
Third is the lava loader, dedicated to moving liquid slag after the steelmaking process. You won't find a much more custom loader.
And finally is the Kress Coal Hauler, straight from the planet Hoth. Moving 200 tons of coal at nearly 50MPH? Not a problem.
When are we gonna get a Pisten Bully factory tour?
He's not obligated to do a factory tour because one person wants him to.
If two people want the tour does that obligate him?
make that three...
Pistenbully is 1 of the more secret machines, so yes please !
I’m here for it!!! Give us a tour!
These are all cool machines but that slag loader is a beast!
That slag handler is so badass
That cable assist on the harbour dredge was one of the first things that I spotted . Very unique!
Mark from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺
Man, how cool would it be to work around cutting edge in Australia he’s a one man show and would be such a cool collaboration between you two
head to Quintette coal mine in Tumbler ridge BC, they're constructing a long conveyor from the top of the mountain down to the plant so that the haul trucks have a shorter turn around and more product can be pushed out.
or Kearl lake site in the fort mac oil sands, get with geo-solutions and forgen, they're digging a 120ft deep slurry wall around a tailings pond with long reach PC1250's and cable excavators running clam buckets. really unique job for sure!
Great video, Aaron. Very educational. Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend!!
This channel soothes my inner 10 year old. 🙂
Can you PLS do a video on the semi trucks that move these machines... i've never seen you show anything about the trucks that transport all these machines and their parts.. this video you had a massive beautiful Kenworth and you didn't even talk about it :'(
THANK YOU for addressing the Cable assist, that was the first thing that caught my eye, interesting modification, i would be curious how that actually functions in parallel.
How about an episode on some of the largest hydraulic and lattice boom cranes?
Yes, I would love to see some good info and what not with cranes
Especially some of the largest Manitowoc and Liebherr builds!
A visit to Mammoet would be pretty sweet!
Love your channel, since I've started watching my work productivity has dropped so much
You should head out to the Femern Belt project in Germany, and check out some of the big long reach machines, and pontoon Dreagders
Love this style of video, mainly because you guys have so much good b-roll that isn't generic stock footage/AI slop
First I've seen those kind of haul trucks, dump bellied, engine in the rear, great concepts. Drivers don't have to battle the loud noise that you have to in the big CAT haul trucks, seem very low centered gravity and will not tip easy.
Thank you Mr. Watt my all time favorite BIG excavator professional 😊❤😊
My all time favorite is the ( Liebherr)
Also. So glad you explained the in water cable hoasting assistant boom. That excavator is just amazing 😊❤😊
And what it does in very hard rock on bottom of Boston Harbor. A clamshell bucket crane just cannot dig this hard rock up. For me its an amazing sign that the engineers at Liebherr and the dredging company figured out how to design a massive backhoe excavator to do east coast shipping channel upgrades for the massive Container ships being built, so all us consumer of goods that are carried can get them to are homes ( Amazon) or big outlet stores like Costco
You do such great 👍😊 work traveling around the world 🌍 to show us all on U-Tube these massive machines 😊❤😊
If you like the Cat 6015 you should really get up and close to the Komatsu PC1250
The next time you're in Peoria, IL checking out CAT's building SS... check out the Kress Corporation.
Funny how there is naturally occurring oil in the ground - OilSands and it's ok. You have a tractor / trailer accident and puncture the motor or transmission and there is a massive Hazmat cleanup bill that someone has to pay. Or the one I really think is funny - the asphalt road surface in the summer has oil that comes to the surface follow by a rain and oil runs in to the bar ditch and there is no issue, happens all across the US every summer.
Love it! Beautiful machines.
AWESOME some of my favorites also..... I would really love to see a2350 Letourneau.... Komatsu now.... but I want to see one run.... do they throttle up and dow o run wide open..... ????? Would love to know..... Great videos
Boliden, Aitik in sweden
A large open pit in north of Sweden
awsum, love your stuff, watch from Belfast Northern Ireland..:)
Love it! Should check out some freight trains next!
My 2nd most favorite type of dirty talk
❤❤Your vids are excellent well done you certainly put the work an effort in 👍👍👍👍👍
you guys need to check out Luhr brothers. They have several liebherr 994's set up as long reaches on barges for dredging and doing other projects. They also have a bunch of long reach 395s, 385s for spreading rock and digging. Cranes and Draglines too.
Was convinced you were going to say a Liebherr 9800!!
You visited our job site at Garney construction and recorded in curious to see content from that day to see what your opinion on it is
All your videos are great!
You gonna be at minexpo this year?
Explaining machines is pretty easy: they are doing stuff.
Or to be more precise: they are doing cool stuff.
😁😁😁
Go to Longyearbyen, have a look at American mining history outside the US.
But be quick, before it shuts down.
This is Kenworth C500 6x6 on 5:55?
Great video.
We need a video on how to be come an operator of the insane machines
That dredger isn't the largest the macor i believe it's called is based on a cat 6090!
you should go the the netherlands, they are the leading in developing construction equipment for roadbuilding. its way better then the USA equipment.
The big 24 scraper
You should go to Germany to see the bagger 298!
Bucket wheel excavators are pretty huge machines. Very few mines use them.
@@johannessamuelsson6578 the Hambach surface mine does.
Why did you change the video title
Mine: Cat D11. Cat D10. Komatsu D155W.
I like dozers.

😇😎😇
What happened to your trip to Canberra (nothing as its full of bs politicians) just joking, it's a nice place to visit, just up the road from me cheers.
You make it sound like those coal loaders stopping would be the end of the world... but you forget, nobody lives in North Daokta, it's just Grass
How annoying are imperialistic measurements wtf !!!!
Keep hearing more and more stories of your failed operating career which lead to you annoying multiple locations about filming and being rejected lol
That’s the most creative you can be?
