Thank you very Much for your Contant!!! Yesterday i fixed the Issue of my DSC. I got this problem since 2 years. At first exactly like your description . Sporadically DSC sign on, after newstart gone, and more and more sign lighting. Since over one year the sign dont go away and lights permanently. At First i changed the black round part behind the steering wheel for a lot of money, that doesn't work. After a long journey from "Expert" to "Expert's " ( DSC brain broken, ABS Sensors and Modul, Hole Electric issues in the Car) i found your channel here. After watching the video with the e65 730d fixing the DSC issue, was everythin crystal bright! Now one coul imagine that the issue on the DSC a mechanical problem was than a electrical. While watching i understud, that we had to change the VIEW!!! ( THX AGAIN FOR THAT). I ordered in The Internet a special Repair kit for this Issue, i call them BRUSHS. After fixing them it works fantastic, an the feeling from driving the car is completely Different. The Car is like sliding on the road now. Sorry for this long text, but i HAVE TO communicate this. Im appreciate and Thank you very much to doing this kind of Videos. YOU ARE A GENIUS! Greetings and best regards from cologne, Germany. p.s. If i can do here in germany something for you, than let me now.
It's common for the older pre LCI coopers to have a 2F42 heater ventilation fault. I beleive the heaters are only fitted to the cooper S N14 engines. This fault doesn't cause any issues with running. The most likely cause of the bad running would be the oil pressure sensor causing timing problems
Hello need help please I do have a fault code P111b/2b68 just recently change map sensor, 02 sensor done smoke test leak test its all good. No rough idle and no misfire
@jrey5676 Not sure now from the top of my head... But a reset of the learnings is advisable... if there is a procedure to learn the new map sensor, it also advisable to run it...
That was an interesting case.. I have fixed issues with Transits by updating the software but I also can't give an answer to this one. Maybe the oil pressure sensor? If I really wanted to know I would dig deeper into it but that it was not a ventilation heater fault you actually knew. I was thinking timing but only because I had a similar case on a Focus a few years ago. No relative P codes but driving like a cripple horse. You got her done again Luis. Nice one.
Yeah, Focus without the keyed crankshaft pulley. Timing was of by a little. Same symptoms as yours. If I remember well, it didn't start that well from cold but NO codes. And the funny part, lambda 1 heater not working and fuel trims were normal and when I found the problem and timed the belt correctly the engine light came on. 😂😂
@@LMAutoRepairs All original, a foolish rac guy fitted half size battery a week earlier to no start and key x symbol shows on screen. Tried a module kit from another identical car and it runs fine. Why don't cars have like phones have where they update the software themselves I heard the brand new cars do have it it's a shame these kind of ones did not
thanks for your videos, watched all of them, you're amazing. I have a 2012 Mini Cooper with one leg of 5v Sensors that are shorting to ground that i can't fix. any pointers or ideas on how to fix it? or if you could make a video on checkpoints for DMEs, i would really appreciate it. keep up the good work.
I had a similar problem The fault registered an implausible Air mass sensor! Which it doesn't have as you know The fault was caused by the oxygen sensor! BMW coding !!
Good job. Just shows you need the right tools including a brain 👍 One thing to note, be very careful filming with your mobile in the car. It is now illegal and they will have you. Hand held devices capable of transmitting data, even if they aren't transmitting. Time to get a couple of camera mounts 😉
Thank you so much for this video.
€1,000s spent on my mini trying to solve this issue and all it needed was SW update.

Here's a hint: graph O2 sensors while driving, if they go full rich under acceleration most likely it's not a fuelling issue.

And that there is no injectors leaking...

You could unplug that plug again, and do a testdrive to find out for sure.
How much do you charge for a flashing like this?
Thanks.
It all depends on how many modules...
Just one module like in the video, not a lot...

You need to teach your regulars a lesson about bringing cars to you with very little fuel 😉

Hi Luis, my father has a problem with his F25 airbag module, is there anyway I can contact you for work, we live nearby.
Good job. Congratulations. So, if is not secret...how much money charging for this kind of repair? Thanks in advance.

Have you attempted the fix from the video?
Hi. Do I need a current subscription to perform software updates? I wonder because my subscription has expired ...

Yes... you need to anything that requires to download data from Autel servers...
