I am a man and I see women often feeling small and submissive. I just want to say to all women that to me you are all angels incarnated and this is regardless how you look. You have saved my life over and over again. Please just love yourselves because you truly are devine. ❤❤❤
Thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement. It is so sad how once women are over 35 we are shamed of being too old. When women live to be in their 80’s-90’s. 35 is not even halfway there. Thank you again, it means so much! ❤
Thank you for seeing the truth and so glad you have had these sacred experiences. And thank you for sharing these beautiful words - it’s wonderful to read! ❤
I am continuing my journey at 60. I also lost my mother 4 years ago. I love what I do full time, but your videos inspire me to make the most of my evenings and weekend. I usually give my time to others and that's cool, but I'm inspired to invest more time in focusing on me.❤
Hey there Piper, i'm so sorry for your loss. We both lost our moms in 2020, it was such a tough year and i still miss my mom. Really happy to hear that you enjoy your job, and that you will be carving out more time for you! Thanks so much for your wonderful comment, i really appreciate you 🥰
I started over at age 40 as a high school teacher, at age 50 as a poet, and at age 54 as a writer. I'm getting the urge to reinvent myself again since I will soon be 55. I'm loving this time in my life, and I'm glad to know there are other women out there like me. Thank you for sharing your story!
I quit my $120k job also to take care of my sick mom before passing away. I also never loved the job. Now I’m starting over since it seems they aren’t taking me back anyway.
Dear Dana, I would like to send you warm greetings from Germany. I am also 59 years old and will be 60 next year - a challenging and very exciting phase of my life, in my opinion. I have also just started again and changed a lot in my life. All of us women become queens when we get older, but we often forget that. Princesses become queens who share their knowledge and wisdom with younger women. I celebrate you and your channel and salute you as a sister at heart.
Such a powerful series you've started with this Dana!!! I think so many of us resonate with your challenges of moving forward in life. Can't wait to see more!!! 💖💜💖
I started over twice the first time I was 32 and the second time I was 54 I'm a hairstyles and right now 58 years young but I feel stock because I don't make enough money I wonder If I can learn to do what you do and yes make a little more money tank you for sharing keep it up blessings
Hi Amalia, there are a lot of part time resellers who still have their full time jobs. I would try selling things that you no longer want, that way you can see if its right for you! Good to do before spending any money! Thanks so much for your comment, i really appreciate you 🥰
Thank you for sharing a day in your life. The main takeaway for my journey was to start and give yourself grace. I found staying consistent and trusting myself to navigate a purposeful life. It’s a slow but meaningful journey and I’m grateful for it. 🙏🏽❤️
My grandfater started a business he loved after he left the navy. I went to work every day well into his 90s. He lived a very vibrant life well into his 90s, keeping up with people decades younger. At 94 he did get sick and pass away. One valuable lesson I learned from him is that a person has to have a reason to get up every morning. I'm new at this life on my own thing at 59, I still dont know what that thing, that profession, that business is....but I know I want that
i have to remember to take care of myself. I took care of my mom for many years that i wasnt able to keep up to take care of myself. I have to remember my dentist appointments, walk everyday , workout, my diet so dont get sick, massages is #1. Thanks for these videos.
Commenting before the video begins but ill edit this, but you have no idea how excited ive been to watch this with 100% undivided attention. I hope to show to my mom who was let go from her job of 9 years, and ive been looking up to you for a while. Your channel really has helped me accept that my 30s isnt my end bc i squandered my 20s. ❤ okay time to shut up video is starting ❤❤
Hi Belle, its sooooo good to see you! I remember the toughest birthday for me was turning 30! We all have such different stories, good times, challenging times, its good to know we are not alone. I hope you and your mom enjoy these new videos!! Thanks for your comment, I appreciate you! 🥰
Love you content, Dana. I am just discovering you and also working to discover MYSELF also. I am a very tired, burnt out Hospice LPN and am fearful of not making money, but becoming more afraid of my life dissolving into self-hate and regret. I have never loved what i do. I admire your strength. I have no children, no debt, and only a very co-dependant partner. It's taking my joy. I'm so full of anxiety and sadness right now. A change is so overdue.
@juletaurus If you don't mind me commenting on your message, working in a hospice is not easy, need to take frequent leaves from work to avoid burnt out, because of the nature of the work, it's a constant reminder of death. You said you did not like your job, that makes things worse. Hospices usually rotate jobs so that staff can get a break from the front line work. Try that to see if works.
Wow, you're so disciplined to get up early to work out and then go to the bins that early oh my gosh you're inspiring because I have been sort of in the state of procrastination with my business. I don't know what it is I've been like having this poor pitiful me like I'm in my 50s like and I'll start thinking oh I'm too old to do this and everybody's doing it was so unique about me doing it which I know those are all just lies. I mean I know that it doesn't matter how old you are and everybody's unique and how they're running their business there may be a lot of resellers out there, but we are blessed actually to live here in California. We have access to so many places to source and so I guess that's one thing that makes us unique, but I don't know why I'm in the state of like procrastination I have to get out of it. I've been trying to watch videos to inspire myself get myself out of this rut I actually have a full-time job too and that's probably part of it because I'm always so tired when I have my downtime but thank you so much for these videos. It really inspires me specially, me being in my 50s...❤❤💗💗💗🙌🙌🙌
Thank you for responding to my comment last week. I have been watching your older videos and truly enjoy them. I continue to heal from the back fracture wondering what I have learned from this experience and realizing how ones life can change in an instant. I am 63 and have spent my life worrying about things that are out of my control. Once I heal and can return to my old life, I want to make changes, learn to accept myself and stop feeling guilty when good things happen to me. Wishing you continued success.
Is not only the fear. Once you decide to live yourself, the natural you may feel is the guilt of you are like me. I've done stuff for everyone telling myself that it was enough to sustain me. Now there's no one but me to take care of. No excuses anymore. It's one exciting ride.
I'm from Brazil bus driver 58s married, in the moment I'm away from work l had a heart attack, but I'll be back to work soon thanks for motivation of your videos thank you so much 😊
Thank you for this video! I am starting over as well. Reselling is my favorite thing to do. I have set myself a schedule and I think I'm doing well with it. I am 57. We start over every time we wake up to a new day. We have to love ourselves, believe in ourselves and know that we can do anything for ourselves. ❤🎉
I may have left this comment before, if so you deserve to hear it twice…that color red is gorgeous on you!!!! I’m jealous. Women are every bit as gorgeous in their second half of life as the first. Beauty, I feel, is an energy that oozes out of people. Sometimes the people who register as beautiful in photos are hindered by their less than kind personas. Anyhoo stay gores you look forward to you new role as a grandparent. I live very frugally because I can’t. I don’t have to make more rubbish. I don’t need goods manufactured abroad. Do find the drumming gives new excitement for life? Just listening I feel invigorated 💗💗💗
Hi Sarah! Thank you, its really great to know thats a good color on me, i tend to wear bland colors more often! I try to live frugally and minimally too, i don't need a lot of stuff. Yes, drumming is almost meditative, but also fun! Do you play an instrument? I think music is definitely good for the soul! 🥰
I will be 59 this fall. I have always run my business or had a PT job on the side (extra cash, people contact, and structure to my week.) Last year I had 2 joint replacements, this year one of them got infected. I would have died if not for modern medicine. Now I feel almost reborn, and I don’t know what to do with that feeling. I don’t want to waste my second chance, but I have not found my ikigai. I used my crutches and went to the dojo, just to socialize after kenjutsu class. It was lovely, and I was so wired afterward I could not go to sleep until 2am! I had started over before, but this feels different. I feel afloat, as though in soft cotton, trying to find out who I am and while I do this, I still have books to write and eBay items to list, and exercises to do so I can walk again. I think I will try something entirely new, once I can drive again. Thank you for sharing your journey. It’s so good to know that we are not alone!
I am your same age and am a reseller in Kansas. My primary vocation was that of a farmer. I have let the younger generation take over. I have found great enjoyment with reselling as it keeps my busy, but also is a “transportable” vocation, in that I have a new independence that now I can live anywhere and still be a reseller, or when traveling or taking vacations I can combine that with obtaining inventory. My life has been greatly simplified and with not having a barnyard of animals, or fields of crops depending upon me, I have the ability to explore more options and alternatives. I wish I would have done it sooner. Your channel helps to show that reselling can be a tool for people of all ages to still engage in the business world and explore their personal interests which were suppressed before
Hi William, i think once you get the hang of it, living frugally isn't very hard to do. How is it for you? Thanks so much for your comment, I really appreciate you! 🥰
@@VIAGLO Thanks sooo much Gloria! I know, just saying I love myself outloud chokes me up, it’s really powerful, yea? Haha I realized during editing what that polar bear was doing, embarrassing!! Thx for your awesome comment, I appreciate you 🥰
Thank you for your videos, I’m 59 almost 60 in a month, your videos gave me purpose in life, your videos came to me at the right time, I felt that what’s the point of living anymore at my age, you changed that bad way of thinking, thank you so much, you are helping me and I’m sure many other people 👍👍❤️
Hi Christina! Yes i agree with you, i've stuck with things that i love much more than doing things that don't fit with me. Let me know what you decide upon or want to try, i'm here rooting for you! 🥰
@@danafindwell Hi, Dana. Oh, I want to transfer to another country, the US or Canada, to a place where it is cooler and probably get another job and do some backyard planting🥰
I Love the way you are living and thinking about the life. It's worthy. I am 60 years Old guy. By the grace of God still I am strong and active and doing my e-commerce business in India. Anyway I am sending love and hugs from India 🇮🇳 ❤🤗
I am really happy to see how well your channel is doing at 59. For several years, I have been doing a career coaching channel for mid-to-late professionals, but plan to pivot next month to targeting individuals who want to take an early retirement and find work that they love. Something you are already doing.
Hi Dana! Wonderful to hear about your life and choices! Did you realize how symbolic your dream was? That’s really fascinating how your brain is taking what you’re growing through and wiring the paths for the journey.
You go girl😘Showing us women resilience through change/growth. Loving this series with reseller content. So refreshing to see real life conversations that many of us have in our heads
You’re inspiring me I have put off all my thoughts of starting this or that and my fear talks me out of it . I will be 58 next week I want to do this now . Thank you for your channel . It’s better to try and fail then to not try at all ❤❤
Hi Nami, i'm so happy to meet you! I wish you success and happiness with your new venture, you're soooo right about trying and failing is better than not trying at all! I would suggest not putting out more capital than you can afford, and possibly keeping your current job while you launch your idea? Not sure what your planning but i thought i would share this...this is what i think when people ask me about reselling! Thanks for your comment, I really appreciate you! 🥰
I agreed! DONT be visible bcs we older Im actually 63 and in good shape and want to do a dance career! For those women to lift up their spirit! N feel wonderful! I love to dance and I'm good at it and I will proceed very soon!! Thank you! You inspired me even more! You go girl!
That is this whole journey of life, allowing ourselves to truly love and accept ourselves. Shame and disappointment of ourselves can suffocate any path to happiness, and fear is our nemesis. Keep sharing your message! Getting older makes it even more of a challenge to take on new paths, but it can, it must, be done. That drumming looks like a blast!
I loved your starting over at 59 video and yes I could totally relate. I have learned to surround myself only with people that have good positive energy. The energy does not have to be happy all the time, but caring, thoughtful and loving. Not shallow, gossipy and negative. I love what I do now too and am self-employed baker. I can go out in the community with my bake goods and meet so many great people which also lifts my spirit.
You’re on the right path, Dana. Thank you for sharing your story with us. After COVID and overcoming some health issues, I can say this year is a brand new season to enjoying life again and choosing to focus on my passion for teaching and creating art. I see this experience as starting a new chapter because we’ve already had our lived experience. Wishing everyone well in all areas of their lives. Health is wealth. 🍀 Cheers! ❤
I am so glad TH-cam recommended your channel. I can relate to so much of your journey. I feel like YT is finally presenting me with channels that resonate with me, instead of all the 'how to grow on YR gurus'.
Dana, life goes by so quickly., and complacency is an insipid creature that lulls many of us into thinking we are okay just where we are. Until the day we are confronted by something that makes us take stock of where we really are in our lives. For me, it is seeing my daughter grown, in college, and doing well-without me. Seeing the changes in my body-that I have allowed. Feeling angry at myself for journeys not taken in my youth, for opportunities missed, and experiences not had. Inertia-complacency's child- feeds our fear of change and stymies our growth. My eyes are now open and I am beginning to flex both mental and physical muscles that have been dormant for far too long. I am learning to bend, so as not to break- to bow, so that I may learn and to reach ever higher for all that i believe will serve me. This work is hard and sometimes intimidating, but far less scary than the envisioning a future of inertia and invisibility. I am grateful to know that I am on this journey alongside so many wonderful women. ❤❤❤
Thank you for your Videos Dana! You’re so pure and sweet! It’s quite unusual on this platform! I love your energy! I also started starting over at 35. It’s been almost 3 years now and I still haven’t figured out where to go but I try to be ok with uncertainty and not knowing. I wish you all the best and keep spreading your beautiful calm and positive energy on this platform! Love from Berlin! ❤
Hi Elizaveta, its soooo great to meet you! Hello to you in Berlin!! I think its great that you are exploring what is right for you, we need to try things out and see if its a good fit. You will figure it out, i know you will! Thanks so much for your wonderful comment, I really appreciate you! 🥰
I so relate to the first 3 minutes of this video, learning to love myself authentically. I think the menopause issues of weight gain has depressed me. After listening to you, I feel more motivated to love me more and do some lifestyles changes again. I did it when I was 40, and felt so confident and felt pretty then. Thank you again for sharing. Have a wonderful weekend ✌🏻🤍🎋🥰
Awesome encouraging comments❤ 56 here, not loving where I am in life, man 35 old to 55.old..... .so fast young 20 year olds take note...I'm still young, I change, have other interests. Work on what you love and love yourself first. ❤
I may have to start over yet again. I'm living with my son and daughter in law and I have no freedom. I'm 60 years old, I earned my freedom. The thing is, I'll probably have to live in my car. I just need to find me again. I've taken care of everyone else all my life, now it's my turn.
Hi Yarnfanatic, its so great to meet you! You have definitely earned your freedom, perhaps you can have a talk with your family so they know how you feel? Maybe they can allow you to have freedom living with them? It sounds like you already have a passion for knitting, which i think is awesome! Good luck with your journey, i'm rooting for you!! 🥰
In the bible Psalms 139:14 the Lord reminds of that we are fearfully & wonderfully made. When I feel bad about myself I think about that verse & how God sees me & how much he loves me. Hope this blesses you too!
great video Dana! I admire what you've put out and shared with us! i enjoy this kind of video! I just turned 40, divorced and childless with no education beyond hs and truck driving. Sometimes it's hard getting up everyday, showing up and keeping the grind going. I love seeing how you fill your day. mine is 99% reselling related and i realize how unhealthy that is. my introvert shy self loves the idea of finding friends here and community, but i just haven't got it in me. Anyway, i'll live vicariously through you and your drum class! you're so good! thanks for sharing!
Hi Nicole! I’ve known you for a couple of years and this is the first time I heard your story! Thanks sooo much for sharing I really appreciate you 🥰 I’m pretty shy too, but as I get older I guess I have become braver, weird huh? ❤
@danafindwell 😀 yeah, I moved to S. Cal from UT a few years ago and I love it here, but that didn't come without a lot of trauma, heartache and grief.. and its still a struggle. I lost a whole community and just wish I had some friends.... like you! :) I love how you are with your friends at the bins! I feel like some of the gw employees are my friends lol. And I do love thrifitng so I see them a lot haha
Thank you for sharing this. I, too, lost my parent around the Covid shutdown. Both my daughters are artists and graphic designers. I was able to retire at 57. Glory to God. I loved this video and saw so many similarities in my own life. I love thrifting myself! Keep doing what you're doing and if you're ever in So Cal, I'd love to do coffee with you!
I love your videos! Your voice is so soothing and it’s amazing to watch you transform your life. I am on a journey to become healthier and more content. I would love to find a job reselling or doing something working for myself. PTSD is so difficult to navigate in the workplace and I do better in more unconventional work environments. You’ve encouraged me to go back to the gym and get this extra weight off! Hope you have a wonderful week!
I just watched both of these Starting Over videos, and I wanted to say thank you because they have resonated with me so deeply. I'm 51 and there are times in the past few years I have struggled to find myself after all my kids have grown up and moved out, losing jobs due to circumstances beyond my control, financial situations, and health issues. I have also found myself questioning where I am going in my life and to find myself. I loved your statement in one of the videos about Ikigai and it is something I'm trying to figure out for myself. I also am a reseller and am in the group. I have struggled with my reselling business and have had to go look for work again and took a low wage job to supplement the reselling until I can get it off the ground where I would like it to be. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know I appreciate these last 2 videos as I usually feel alone in my issues as all my friends are successful and I feel I have taken so many steps backwards in the past 5+ years.
Hi Dana, thank you for your video. I just came across your videos and I love the simpler and sincere you. I’m trying to see what to do in this new chapter as I’m getting closer to retirement . Trying to find something that will give me joy and fulfillment . One thing I told myself in the beginning of the year that I want to lose 10 lbs in 12 months. So guess what!! I lost 18 lbs in 7 months. I’m so happy and proud of myself . I did the intermittent fasting and workout as I did before. I don’t like dieting I try to eat enough protein , veggies and fruit reduce the carbs and sweets. I feel great ! I love what you said in this video start the change slow and give your self time. Love that.
@@silviahernandez4827 hi Silvia, I loved reading your comment! Your weight loss journey is so smart and inspiring, thank you for your very doable lifestyle change, I appreciate you! 🥰
You are doing so awesome, Dana! I love what that instructor said....sometimes it can be intimidating at a gym. Better to walk in and feel like you own the place! Great job!
That video you mention was the first video I found last night and I found it so beautiful to see you respond to many of those comments! My comment was so brief and even taking the time to heart it was so sweet. I subscribed last night because I love your realness. I’m 54 and quit my job of 31 years at the same company a year and a half go and keep wanting to do something similar to what you are doing. I would LOVE my own brick and mortar one day too. Your online is aligned with the times, so smart! In the meantime I also TH-cam as a creative outlet. I’m not saying this for you to check out just speaking what I’m up to.❤ I was in accounting for all that time and I’m an artist so it felt so terrible. That is why I quit. Gosh I love the drumming and also knowing you dance is so inspiring. Keep going! You’re someone we need in our world!
Thanks for sharing your story and for inspiring me and others! I just found your video and I am sort of a place at overwhelm, and panic. I quit a toxic job last october, and now driving 2 hrs (with an aging mom) to visit an ill sister who by the grace of GOD is on the road to recovery but not out of the woods yet. I have no idea where to even start over, change careers?, get another loan for school? work at a lower wage in this economy? and dealing with isolation,,,,,,but yet I love the light, positivity in your video, thanks!
Hi Linda, its really great meeting you! I'm so sorry that you're in a difficult place right now, but i'm glad to hear that your sister is recovering! It sounds like there are so many different paths you can take, which can be overwhelming. Maybe sitting down and writing pros and cons for each path might help? Please keep me posted, i'm rooting for you! Thanks so much for comment, I really appreciate you! 🥰
Dana these new videos are absolutely wonderful. Your sweet spirit shines right through. Sharing your experience brings such beautiful light to the way that you are choosing to create the life around you!! I after many decades of addiction was able to set it down and the story of starting over resonates so well for me. Thank you for being authentic. Something that I bring with me each day is that I can not rush my healing ❤️🩹 though every day I have to re-remember this 😂 Slow and steady brings a beautiful mastery into our lives. May we all learn to love ourselves a little more today !! ❤

Hi Helen! I'm super impressed that you have a fulltime job and do reselling, thats a lot!! I think a person at any age would need a break at times, i know that i do. I don't go to the flea market every Sunday, maybe once a month, i wouldn't be able to do it every week. Thanks sooooo much for your amazing support, I really appreciate you! 🥰
It’s overwhelming to see all that clothing being discarded! Wondering what happens to what does not sell! Oh gosh. May you find all the perfect garments that will create abundance for you!
At 13.52 you mentioned that we will be beginners again. Reminded me of this - being unconsciously incompetent, then consciously incompetent, then consciously competent then finally unconsciously competent.
Just found you in my feed. Wow! Love your videos and shorts. I am 60 next year too. You are inspiring ✨️ Love the hip hop info! My daughter teaches hip hop dance to tots (4-6 years) but what a fantastic idea of hip hop for our age! There are no classes like that which I know of here in my part of England. I look forward to following you from hereon. Awesome and so encouraging! ❤
Oh Goodness. I've actually been to this bins. I was thinking how familiar it looks (needs to be inside again). Maybe I will run into you one day and say Hello. And Of-course Stay Strong. Your story has resonated with myself and so many people. Its Brave and will inspire others to welcome their second, or third, or fourth chances.
i really enjoyed hearing your story. I can totally relate. You are so youthful and also a good drummer and dancer! You've got talent and the right dance moves! Keep up the exercise! You are on the right track keeping yourself from sinking down into the dumps. LOL Exercise, fun hobbies, work you enjoy and positive assiciations are key to staying happy! Being single with a child is three times harder than having a reliable partner. There's something about having sole responsibility that is very stressful, though we don't know it. I used to be an aerobic fanatic and mountain biker for many years. Were some of my best days ever. I worked out faithfully, and was the perfect weight. Then life had its change of events and I slowly drifted away from it, and of course started putting on weight too! Hang in there, stay positive and remember to acknowledge your many accomplishments (and don't dwell on occasional setbacks every now and then!). We ALL have them!
@@danafindwell You''re quite welcome! I can tell you're a good person and the giving kind. Just your nature as it is mine. Unfortunately, the givers get screwed more than the takers, but our reward is coming soon! 😁
I love your videos, so I decided to post some of the stuff in my closet on Poshmark. Well, of course, I immediately fall for a scam. Luckily, BofA is great and handling it. But please, folks, if someone wants more photos and you send it and they say hey, I'm buying... "Here's the link."... DON'T CLICK ON IT. I feel like a dumb idiot. I have no idea why I fell for that, I just got excited. Lesson learned. I'm taking a break and then photographing the rest of my stuff later this week and will post it. I will not be deterred. It's hard when you are older and feel powerless, but I'm not quitting! Thank you, Dana, for your videos. You seem to be a wonderful person, and we appreciate all that you share.
So sorry about the scammer, thats awful! I'm glad your bank is taking care of it. Thanks so much for your awesome comment, it should help a lot of people! 🥰
I'm so happy I found your channel. I love you speak a little Spanish. Here in DFW its essential lol. After 20 years I choose not to return to work after the pandemic and retired at 62 this year. I had three (yes 3) all time best friends die within the last two years who never got to enjoy their social security they paid into all their life. They had big plans for retirement including moving to Mexico on the beach. I'd love to hear you speak about the process of selling what you thrift. I would just like to sell my no longer needed things. BTW, that polar bear sweater would sell in a heartbeat for Christmas. Remember the ads for Coke with the Polar Bear???
Hi Mphscat, I'm super happy you found my channel and you took time to share some of your experiences, thank you! I'm so sorry about your 3 friends, it sounds like it was very unexpected. I guess it really is important to live our best lives now because we never know how much time we have, right? I have been talking with friends about whens a good time to collect social security and i really think that i will do it at 62! Yes, i think selling things you no longer want or need is great to do it online. Let me know how you like it! Hahaha yep i remember the Coke polar bear commercials! Thanks so much for your wonderful comment, I really appreciate you! 🥰
@@danafindwell I'm sure you know but the great thing for me about taking Social Security at 62 is that you can continue to work! Yes, there is a limit as to what you can make but at 62 I'm just fine with part time!
I’ve started over several times. Beauty therapy to school teacher to mum to off grid gardening. I know these are all ‘roles’ but generally have to earn some income and do something interesting with my life. I really do love the drumming. I need to find something to do. Starting to Hate I do nothing for myself except get nails done 1 to 2 times a month. Tim golfing every week and sometimes an extra day a week and I work. Then hunting starting for him and I will work. Hmmmmm.
Ohhhh maybe you can find a drumming class? Its sooo awesome to hit the drum, gets out a lot of stress, hahaha!! Let me know if you find something you love to do, KT!! 🥰

I graduated from college at 48 , good videos
@@BEACHDUDE71 Thanks so much! 🥰
Lol, I did too. Now I have more debt than I could ever pay off during the rest of my life, since I'm 60 now.
Facing my fear right now. Starting over after a divorce at 54. God has a greater plan!
You can do this! You're very strong for facing your fear, i'm rooting for you!! 🥰
I am 56 I started over 5 years ago and I have since become what I had always want to be
I quit my $120k job also to take care of my sick mom before passing away. I also never loved the job. Now I’m starting over since it seems they aren’t taking me back anyway.
@inquisitivem6723 - are you going to try a completely different industry or a related industry since you already have the skill set?
@@Ava2969ny different skill set. I was in tech. Now I’m going try and get a job as a community college advisor.
Thanks so much, its wonderful to meet you!! 🥰
Such a powerful series you've started with this Dana!!! I think so many of us resonate with your challenges of moving forward in life. Can't wait to see more!!! 💖💜💖

A gift you have that I see unmentioned in your videos is a calm presence and voice. It's lovely to listen to you.
Thank you so much, Geoffrey! 🥰
I'm new at this life on my own thing at 59, I still dont know what that thing, that profession, that business is....but I know I want that
Its sooooo great to know thats important! Love the story of your grandfather, he had purpose and lived a long, purposeful life 🥰
i have to remember to take care of myself. I took care of my mom for many years that i wasnt able to keep up to take care of myself. I have to remember my dentist appointments, walk everyday , workout, my diet so dont get sick, massages is #1. Thanks for these videos.
Thanks soooo much for your wonderful comment, yes self care is really important, it’s hard to do when we have to care for others! 🥰
Love yourself, make yourself happy. Your happiness is within you.❤❤
Wow, you're so disciplined to get up early to work out and then go to the bins that early oh my gosh you're inspiring because I have been sort of in the state of procrastination with my business.
You’ve inspired me and made me think of one of my favourite Trent Shelton quotes, « You’re not starting over. You’re starting fresh ! »
You are a great leader in this respect, your humility and strength is awesome
Thank you soooo much I really appreciate your wonderful comment! 🥰
Is not only the fear. Once you decide to live yourself, the natural you may feel is the guilt of you are like me. I've done stuff for everyone telling myself that it was enough to sustain me. Now there's no one but me to take care of. No excuses anymore. It's one exciting ride.
I'm excited for you, great things are ahead! But yes, letting go of guilt can be very hard 🥰
I'm from Brazil bus driver 58s married, in the moment I'm away from work l had a heart attack, but I'll be back to work soon thanks for motivation of your videos thank you so much 😊
I hope you get better soon! Thanks so much for watching and your comment, i really appreciate you 🥰
Thank you for this video! I am starting over as well. Reselling is my favorite thing to do. I have set myself a schedule and I think I'm doing well with it. I am 57.
We start over every time we wake up to a new day. We have to love ourselves, believe in ourselves and know that we can do anything for ourselves. ❤🎉

@@ranamerez8392 I lost my job recently. I'm 57 living in Florida. Looking around...
I am loving all the stuff you are including in your videos! We see Dana the reseller and also all other parts that make you more than a reseller.
Thank you Melanie, I’m soooo inspired by your comment! I really appreciate you 🥰
I will be 59 this fall.
Thanks so much for sharing your story Kate! I'm sure you'll find your ikigai, it sounds like you are already close! 🥰
Your channel helps to show that reselling can be a tool for people of all ages to still engage in the business world and explore their personal interests which were suppressed before
Thank you sooooo much for sharing your inspiring journey, I really appreciate you! 🥰

I so relate to the first 3 minutes of this video, learning to love myself authentically. I think the menopause issues of weight gain has depressed me. I may have to start over yet again. I'm living with my son and daughter in law and I have no freedom. I'm 60 years old, I earned my freedom. The thing is, I'll probably have to live in my car.

At 13.52 you mentioned that we will be beginners again. Reminded me of this - being unconsciously incompetent, then consciously incompetent, then consciously competent then finally unconsciously competent.
Thanks for the inspiring words !! Just what I need to hear at 54 and starting over !! Wish you the best !!❤😊
Just found you in my feed. Wow! Love your videos and shorts. I am 60 next year too. You are inspiring ✨️
Love the hip hop info! My daughter teaches hip hop dance to tots (4-6 years) but what a fantastic idea of hip hop for our age! There are no classes like that which I know of here in my part of England. I look forward to following you from hereon. Awesome and so encouraging! ❤
Thank you Carol! 🥰

Please say hello if you see me! Thanks so much for your awesome comment, i appreciate you 🥰

Thanks so much for your wonderful feedback, I appreciate you! 🥰
i really enjoyed hearing your story.
Soooo much wisdom, thank you Sally, i really appreciate you! 🥰
@@danafindwell You''re quite welcome! I can tell you're a good person and the giving kind. Just your nature as it is mine. Unfortunately, the givers get screwed more than the takers, but our reward is coming soon! 😁
Thank you.
Thing is I’m 54 in a couple of weeks and thinking about pivoting again however I’m feeling stuck as to what to do next. I’d love to ‘
know’ so at the moment I’m …. 🤷
Thank you for providing a space for this conversation.
You’re welcome! And thank you for your wonderful comment, I’m happy to meet you. Please check in and let me know how things are going with you. We all need to go at our own pace! 🥰
@@danafindwell ❤️☺️
Love your videos! I’m in the same boat turning 60 next year, I want to leave my part time job and do reselling or another business. I’m in Australia so it might be a bit harder 🥰🌹
was vibing to your jam Dana!
Hahaha thank you!! 🥰
Bravo bravo!
New subscriber really enjoy these videos
Thanks sooo much, I appreciate you! 🥰
