Like so many others' comments I loved Funny Valentine but after watching Motley Crue on TH-cam I'm blown away by how she made Live Wire her own. She just has a fantastic singing voice. I can't wait to hear more from her.

I got the impression Casey has had no training but honed her voice based on instinct and love of singing.. Also, as a vocalist I like the fresh, untouched and rare. Cassandra Coleman deserves a listen. She was pure and composed and stunning.

Norah Jones and I went to the same college years ago, the University of North Texas. A great school for jazz studies. Casey’s lower register reminded me of Norah. Such a beautiful deep tone. Casey also stayed in the pocket, didn’t rush, feeling the slow tempo in My Funny Valentine. She also phrased those slow melodies like the great jazz trumpeter, Miles Davis. She somehow knows exactly when to time the beginning and end of each line. So talented at 15. 🎶❤️🎶
I just listened to Barbara Streisand singing the same song- “My Funny Valentine”. Wow! Her articulation of the lyrics was incredible! You just never hear that type of singing anymore. It’s unique. Too bad so sad!

I love the fact that you listened to the song and then gave your opinion. I dislike voice coaches stoping the video every 5 seconds to critique the vocals. I do however trust this Lauren girl.... Why no comment after the judges? I thought it was the best audition since Carly Rose Sonenclar!!!

She just seems really intuitive. I profile her to be an INTJ on the Meyers Briggs, and those are rare types who are called "The Mastermind." I can see how she would have honed her talent with intuitive intention.

She doesn’t have a voice coach but since she’s only 15 im guessing she used to watch TH-cam videos that helped her with certain techniques, aside from her natural talent.
She should get one. Beth Hart is almost 50 and still has a singing coach which allows her to rival Robert Plant's younger voice who blew out his voice in his 30s.
An outstanding singer, Incredible versatility, I aso rate Cassandra Coleman. Her version of the killers song was better than the original. Some great singers this year IMO. Hannah berhart and Rhonda Felton also have raw potential.
Many times when singers have to give it all they got with power, it sounds like yelling to me, but not with Casey, she does not strain doing it, and sounds like she stays in in key to me. She does so many things well like her breathing, vibrato, and singing in different keys and hitting a wide range of notes with power and softness , I too find it hard to believe her parents or someone else didn't coach her. If it's all natural talent, that's ok.
