First time I tried weed today through edibles and I felt exactly what you are saying here in the latter part of your post but mine lasted 2 or 3 hours. I couldn’t remember shit, my mouth was extremely dry, I kept sticking my tongue out unconsciously and wiggling it all around my lips like a lizard, my heart was racing, my memories were non existent. I just knew I was teleporting around my house essentially then suddenly realizing I was laying down for 10 minutes or more. Sometimes randomly ended up in friends DMs and also I couldn’t feel my private area at all, it was completely tensed up and or numb. Couldn’t pee if it would save my life. I kept waking up inside of my own mind. It was like diving out of water after nearly drowning. Real events became dream like events. I couldn’t remember talking, sometimes it was like I couldn’t even hear myself saying anything. Sometimes I clicked play on a. Video only to see it pause and freak out. It was the most nightmare thing ever lol. My 2nd time I had about 2/3rds of the dose but that resulted in way less of that “Falling asleep with my eyes open for a few seconds only to yell out loud in terror as I had a moment of clarity and woke up in my own head” bullshit and everything tasted so amazing. The memory slips happened but with less intensity. I think I just handled it better but the dose definitely helped that 2nd time.
Benzos are known for being really good at calming you down if you are having a bad time on a strong hallucinogenic. However when you smoke weed it tends to only feel intense for about an hour so if your having a bad time I wouldn’t bother taking a benzo because by the time it kicks in you would be feeling a lot better anyway. You just gotta ride it out really.

pcp is a dissociative ,ecstasy is a stimulant and weed is a lot of things but not a hallucinogen ( most of the time).
And dissociative drugs are hallucinogens. Hallucinogen refers to dissociatives, psychedelics and deliriants

LSD's hallucinogenic effects come from activating the 5-ht2a receptor, I know it affects the D2 receptor but so does PCP.

Yes, benzos are great for killing trips. They are often called “trip killers” and can take you out of a bad acid trip even
