Kumbakonam, located in Tamil Nadu, India, is renowned as a temple town, boasting numerous ancient Hindu temples and a rich cultural heritage. The town served as the capital of the Medieval Cholas and is home to many temples. excellent presentation. Thank you Sir. I have visited Kumbakonam last year but sadly missed Ramanujam's house. Some of the temples are so run down, dilapidated and the HREB is swindling temple moneys, hope these ancient temples can be refurbished or put to some use at least.

Ramanujam was born in Namakkal at grandparents house. He grew up in K.m.u and his focus was only in Mathematics. He started his college education only in K.m.u and then to Chennai started working for Port trust. There He finished his work within few days.

There are sixty steps which you have to climb to have dharsan of lord swaminathan. These steps are named after the sixty tamil years names.

I don't appreciate someone explaining the greatness of our Hindu temples ,in alien language ie.English(half english and some in tamil). Most of our kids have almost forgotten speaking in Tamil. These kind of some asinine approach on some very important assignment is not at all good.

Point taken sir. Unfortunately our command over Tamil is rather bad as we grew up in Mumbai and later spent 15 years in the US before coming back to India for good. Our Tamil is also interspersed with Malayalam as our fathers are from Palakkad. It is what it is unfortunately 🙏🏽
