I am overjoyed with your pink knitting plans. All of my plans are on hold and I am suffering from idle hands. I broke my arm in a rather serious fashion last week and still don't know if I will need surgery. I did make a single granny square just to prove I could but it was too much. And I think there must be Hobbits who are artists.

The Cloudy Nora Shawl is beautiful. I wasn’t too sure about it when you first showed us after casting on, but it turned out fabulously. As for your Lento, the “happy yarn” is perfect. I vote for mismatched sleeves by the way.

As slways I find it super interesting when you tell about the weather. Right now here in the south of Germany it's very warm. This weekend we have over 20 degrees celsius. Next few days it'll cool down again, but we have a mild spring this year.

So glad you are feeling better Jana. I have cast on the lento too. It is my first one. I have not been as fast as you as I only have the collar done. I had to start a sweater for my mother that I promised her and she is now surprising me with a visit so ... I also swatched for the Felix cardigan. That is going to be my May cast on. Oh wow, I love that light pink jumper! It looks very much like it was knitted with Noro yarn or something like that. I was hoping to work on something with a similar colour change technique and I'll be very happy if it turns out half as pretty as that one

Knit the pink colourwork to just above your knees and where with leggings/tights. If below the knees, might feel inhibiting when you walk.

I’ve noticed a lot of people who have had that nasty cold have ended up with pneumonia . You just feel like you’re soooo tired and usually have at least a low grade fever with it, usually a cough that hangs on.
All the bright spring colours are very cheerful, hope you feel better very soon. Fingers crossed for spring weather to settle down so we can all garden. Take care, be safe and well🥰🙋🏼♀️

I’m working on a Whitehorse by Caitlin Hunter, and finishing up a knitting Christmas stocking for a friend. I also have a delightful pink mohair cardigan I am hoping to finish. Spring and the blossoms always brings out the pink love! Warm and cheerful!
Hope you get feeling full of vigour once again, very soon. It can be a long haul when the lungs aren’t at their best after being ill. Takes time for sure.

Lovely sweater and shawl as usual, Jana! I still want to make a Vakka cardi a little shorter than yours. Someday!! It seems spring is dragging its feet all over the N Hemisphere. Meanwhile, I was challenged a week ago to work on the oldest WIP from my LYS, and got out a Meadowlark Shibori Jacket from Alchemy Yarns (now sadly defunct) that I started in 2016 (!) and Im determined to finish it now. That's easier, because the Alpine Bloom I started Holy Week has stalled; after dividing for sleeves and a try on, its tight. I need to block it before deciding whether to adjust or start over. Its always something that prevents smooth going!! 😅 Health problems persist, but thats a long story. I was hoping to travel to Finland this summer, but probably wont happen. Glad youre feeling better and can get outside. Im going to have some lunch and walk in the sunshine.

It looks like nature has been doing a little work outside. It used to amaze me how quickly beauty would pop out of the ground as soon as the snow melted. The plants are probably trying to see what is producing the happy birdsong that I had to rewind the end of the video to hear again. 🙂 TFS! ❤

We had to refill the bird feeder, as we got more snow and poor birds were starving and freezing. There were probably around 100 birds in the yard today.

Love the cardi, what is its name please? Varkka or Vakka? Cant find on Ravalry. Cotton will grow. Put on a hanger. Measure the length then leave for a week to see if it relaxes and grows before you decide on a length. Love the shawl. Gives me an idea to use boucle and mohair yarn from my stash. Love the pink striped knit. You should try the Landscape Dye colour "Galah" or "Fushia" - a bright pink. Australian supplier Kraftcolour.

That depends on the yarn and the project. Where it works, I spit splice. 😄 In Lento I thread one yarn through the other and tightly knit over that bit.
