Yes, I took a look at GeoFS, it really does have a Goat! Fun and simple, easy to use but the pitch instability makes it very hard to control, and it's not really like that at all. The Piper Cub at low power is a lot more like actually flying the Goat. I can't find any lift, either.
That's a tube and tire wheelbarrow wheel from the hardware store, it takes a beating and cushions the landing pretty well. Aircraft wheels and kite buggy wheels have also been used with good results. Rough landings have damaged the nose structure several times but I don't recall ever damaging a wheel.
FLOYD I'M JEALOUS WHAT A BEAUTIFUL VIEW.NICE TO BE A GLIDER PILOT.WOULD LOVE TO SEE THE RED GOAT IN KIT FORM .GOOD FLYING.
I worry about all the the other guy flying that don't look where they are going.
That hang glider passed pretty close underneath! Or was that a trick of the fish eye lens? Looks like a fun little ultralight sailplane.
