- This is how I use the Cheat Terminal when I prepare a game for building only. There is much the Cheat Terminal can do to enhance your gameplay. You decide what to use or not to use. :)

Great video. This is a single player game, affecting no one but yourself, so I don’t see any of this as cheating. There are so many ways to play this game, and it’s important to play in a way that makes it fun for you personally.
I used this mod because I wanted to play every single ending to the main quest, I stuffed up the Railroad ending, so I restarted and used the mod because I didnt want to to spend a lot of rime doing the same quests again
i'm always happy that i've got this mod, cheat terminal. anytime the game fails to spawn an npc or brings up the infamous vault door bug, i can do some teleports.
I love this mod because it makes playing the game way easier.
Gamerzombie, me too! The cheat terminal and Place Anywhere mods both make building so much faster and easier. ;-D
But how do you get the settlement size to not max out?

Potato Gameplay, thanks for the sub! I always appreciate the support. Actually, I got that nickname in my younger years (I'm now officially older than dirt, lol) while deer hunting. I started hunting from trees, which was not yet a common or popular thing to do. Someone in my hunting party found out I was hunting from trees and started calling me a turkey buzzard. Before long, word got around and everyone in the party started calling me turkey buzzard or TB and the name stuck. Lol Nowadays, I no longer hunt deer and if I did I'd rather shoot them with a camera. Not that I'm against hunting but I have plenty of food and I can't see senselessly killing such a beautiful animal for no reason. However, my son lives for deer season so I still enjoy the occasional venison steak. Have a great day! 😁

I used it and somehow made my health extremely high is there a way to reset my health
I just bought the game. I bought it solely to build the Vault 88 build. I have been watching Oxhorn's and Jug's Vault Tec build videos for over a year, but just decided on the spur of the moment when I saw the 2 games side by side in Walmart, Fallout 76 for what 60$?? And Fallout 4 for 19$. No brainer! Since I haven't done 1st person shooters since my Doom and Duke Nukem days on PS1 (lol) I now, after viewing this video, I feel more confident in going ahead and installing. Since I never actually played, but have logged significant hours watching the game play and walkthroughs on TH-cam, I just kinda wish you had gone through which skills you need to blaze thru the game, so I can get to building quicker.
I have no problem playing through and learning that way, and it might even be more fun that way.

Also, can anyone reading this suggest good builder games? I have seen some of the city building ones, like Surviving Mars. But doing a web search for base building and other kinds of building games is very confusing and time consuming, as there are just too many of these kinds of games to search through. I like the futuristic and scifi theme, if that helps. Thanks!
Adam, thank you and thanks for the sub! Actually, if you have the Cheat Terminal you don't have to worry about skills. The mod will allow you to activate all of the perks and god mode. Then you just need to go to each settlement, do the quest and then you can build there. With the Cheat Terminal you can even spawn in all of your building materials. 😁👍
As far as I know, this is the best one - if you use the mods to get what you want for the building supplies. 😁

It won’t let me spawn anything on the physical terminal. I can build it and place it but once I try and interact with the options, nothing spawns or changes. On ps4 playing on ps5

its gone now , I just finished with a reinstall of the game and reinstalling my mods,its hidden on the nexus , and when you download from Bethesda net it will download but it will not show up in your load order. I think it got taken down for whatever reason , I hope it comes back .

So, quick question.
If I started with only the Cheat Terminal Mod, (only mod I’ve downloaded) and I gave my character a lot of Ammo/Aid/Supplies/and set all my S.P.E.C.I.A.L. points to 10.
After doing all that, I play the game through just like how you would play it regularly. Leveling up (started at lvl 0) and completed most of the quest. (I’ve found 60 yr old Shaun) and now I’m wondering.
If I Disable the mod, will it effect my character?
Randy, thank you! That's a very good question. I don't think it would affect your character. However, just to be safe I would make sure to save before you disable the mod. If there are no changes to your character, you should be good to go. If it does affect your character you can always enable the mod again and open the previous save. I hope that helps. Let me know how it comes out. :)

Gottcha, I’ve already saved the game. Now just need to Disable it and load the saved.
Dude make sure you re enable the mod before reloading the save if it effects your character! It’s an easy thing to do and then you might be stuck! Just warning you!

How do i duplicate items for example the weapon mod FN P90 only spawns one P90 in the world how do i use the terminal to get more?
Alan, the cheat terminal is only designed to spawn items from the vanilla game. Therefore, any special weapons that you get from mods can't be spawned using the cheat terminal. However, if you have the Contraptions DLC there are some manufacturing machines that might be helpful. It seems like I remember a few times that people used the machines to duplicate items that they couldn't get otherwise. Not sure if it will help, but it's worth a shot. :)

How do you put legendary effects on any weapon with that mod cuz i think u can do that i just dont know
HBO360, no, unfortunately the Cheat Terminal can not add legendary effects to weapons. If I remember correctly, there is a mod called "Peter Hicks' Upgrade to Crafting", and this mod will add either two or three legendary effects to each weapon. The Cheat Terminal will do a lot, but it does have its' limits. 😀

Does this mod allow you to reset your assigned perk points? I’m on Xbox and I’m trying to find a mod which lets me do this
milgeomar, good question. Yes, with the Cheat Terminal you can add or subtract any or all of your assigned perks. 😀

how can I add a legendary modification to a weapon
Saul, that can't be done with the cheat terminal. However, assuming you're on Xbox, go to the mod menu and type in the following search: Upgrade to Crafting. This will bring up a bunch of different mods. Look for Peter Hick's Upgrade to Crafting. This mod will allow you to assign two legendary stats to each of your weapons, clothing and armor. Yes u can you have to drop your weapon pick it up holding it in front of you go into pipboy go to cheat terminal go to items and equipment go to mods- wepons- custom in this you can also take off recoil make the wepons- Auto rapid or all three :)
Does Disabled mean On or Off on the XBox one? Cause I alot of my mods on disabled and there working fine.

With the cheat terminal you still use all your building mods too, yes? When you use it to build only then you also don't have to have companions if you don't want them?
Jan, thank you! Yes, I use all of my mods when building only. When I'm playing a building only game, I avoid as many companions and quests as possible to save time. However, you still occasionally have to do a quest or use a companion to get a settlement. Usually I only have dogmeat with me, mostly because I love dogs. Even then, he often gets into trouble and has to be saved. Lol :)
Turkey Buzzard at least Dogmeat isn't as annoying to listen to as some of the others, and doesn't walk in front of you when you have your sniper rifle up :)
Haha. That is true. However, I have a zombie walker mod which makes ghouls particularly powerful and only susceptible to head shots. Dogmeat is constantly getting into trouble with them and has to be saved, then stimpacked. Lol ;D

I’m trying to do a monster fight thing so how do I make monsters fight?
Isaac, I'm not sure how you would go about doing something like that. There's nothing in the Cheat Terminal that would do it. The problem is, monsters are not settlers and so they cannot be assigned or given commands. Unless there is a mod made specifically for that purpose, I don't know if its possible. Sorry I can't be of more help. 🙁

ROXTAR, to tell you the truth I don't have any idea. I've never been much for using chems in the game. Having the Cheat terminal absolutely did away with the need for chems. 🤔😀

Did you install the mod in the middle of a play through? If, so, you may need to start a new play through before the cheat terminal will appear in your pip boy. If that doesn't help, I don't know what else you can do other than check your load order.. Good luck. :)

Javier, thank you! I'm not really sure exactly what player essential does. I'm guessing that it makes the player less likely to be killed. To be honest, I've never used it in my game. :-}

Killerkitten, you don't. First of all. I'm assuming you're on Xbox. Second, when you say unlimited space, I don't know if you mean on your build bar when you're in workshop mode or unlimited space outside the settlement borders. However, there are two mods you can use which will take care of both. The first is Settlement Borders Extended by Sonkaro. This mod will allow you to build far outside the settlement borders. The second is Unlimited Building by mastergamer500. This mod will allow you to bild without maxing out your build bar. If that doesn't work, try searching No Build Limits (I forget who it's by). I hope this helps. 😅

How can I use it to change companion relationships
I'm not sure what you mean by changing their relationships. If you mean improving the relationship between your character and your companion, there is nothing in the cheat terminal for that. However, Koozebane has mods out which will accomplish that, such as "Loving Cait" or "Loving Piper." 😀
Go to companions settings and choose next dialogue choice keep doing this for max affinity

That's a good question. In the Cheat Terminal, under "Cheats," hit "Enable Infinite Ammo". You may also want to go into Inventory/Ammo and give yourself 1,000 rounds of ammo. Now you're set to go. 😃

What does the no spread, and the no sway feature do?
I believe no spread means the ammo from the shotgun doesn't spread out in a wide pattern, and no sway means less weaving when you are aiming through rifle scopes. I hope that helps. :)

Hey, I was just on this today, no spread means that the bullets will not go anywhere except where you are aiming. (Basically a straight line of bullets where you are aiming)

Does anyone know what player essentials does?
Pat, I'm not 100% on this, but I think it makes it so that a character is considered necessary and therefore does not get killed during settlement attacks and such. However, I would be sure to save before you test it out. BTW, thank you for the sub, I really appreciate the support. :)

Lukas, the Cheat Terminal has a section labeled Downloadable Items. Select that and choose the dlc the item is from. From there you should be able to find what you're looking for. I hope that helps. 😁

There is a video on another channel where the guy reverses time somehow with his Pipboy to before the war. He uses the Pipboy as a time machine. It's really weird. It only works in Sanctuary Hills though.

This mod caused all my companions and all b.o.s quests to be bugged....that's what I get.
Kelli, I'm sorry to hear that. You are the first person that's ever complained to me about a problem with this mod. I, myself use this mod - along with about 300 other mods and have never had a problem with it. Are you sure there isn't a problem with your load order, or perhaps another mod is conflicting with it. Personally, between this mod and Place Everywhere, they're the two mods I simply couldn't do without. However, since I've beaten this game numerous times and played each of the endings, the only reason I play the game now is solely for building.
@@TurkeyBuzzard it's my fault...I think it's because I played 76 before f.o 4 and was use to shooting down vertibirds. So when I seen them in 4 I shot them down not knowing that id be doing missions for them later. So when I tried to talk to them i was marked as an enemy. So i used the cheat terminal to change them from enemy to friend. After that it got glitchy. Paladin Danse keeps repeating the same line on fire support and piper ,as well as valentine are missing. Dog meat won't respond to me. That's what I get for cheating.

That's NOT what you get for cheating. You won't find a bigger cheater than me, lol. The Cheat Terminal can do a lot to make your gameplay easier; I use it to get all of my supplies for building - saves a ton of time. Lol, sounds like you may need to start a new play through. Just remember to be careful who you kill until your alliances are established. You just have to know how and when to cheat. Some of the cheats work great, yet some of them are better left alone. Don't give up on cheating, Isn't that an awful thing to say? Haha 😀
