Sreekrishnapuram Sreekrishna Temple is located in Sreekrishnapuram area of ​​Palakkad district in Kerala. Krishna, one of the incarnations of Lord Vishnu, is housed in this centuries-old temple.Also, he appears here as a Unnikkannan child. Considered to be an ancient temple, this temple is situated in the heart of a beautiful village.Its history says that this temple is about 1200 years old. Also, its history says that some rituals were followed in the early times in this temple, similar to the practice of the famous Guruvayur temple in Kerala.Seated as a small child, Unnikkannan holds butter in both his right and left hands and presents to the devotees who come with a beautiful smile.Presently the temple is under the Malabar Devasam Board and under the care of a management body.
