How To Open Contact Lens Bottles & Solotica Color Contact Lens Vials

- How to open Solotica contact lens glass bottles?
There are two methods to do this. You can open the contact lens vials with your bare hands or with a tweezer/silverware.
Step 1: Hold your vial with one hand & use the other hand to press below the arrow. This will lift up the aluminum a tiny bit.
Step 2: Slowly start pulling the aluminum using your thumb and index finger in a "pinching" form or your tweezers if you want a "safer" option.
Step 3: Once you pull the aluminum as far as it can go, then slowly start twisting it to either side until the whole cap comes off!

Hey! What lens solution brand do you think is the best fit for solotica? I've been wearing solotica for a few years now and I used to be able to wear them comfortably for long hours... But with the new ones I bought lately they've been unbearable to wear. I don't know if it's because they did something with the newer lens or because I've changed the lens solution or some other reasons.
I wonder,if i wash a plastic openers if it will work until i get real pack that you use
I just put for the first time and didn't know that it had special placement for the lences

thanks so much for this video, think it's absolutely appalling that Solotica does not have instructions on how to open these vials....nor that they should soak in contact lense solution for 24 hours !! feels like a health and safety hazard, unbelievable

is it mandatory to store the contact lenses with the new solution for 24 hours, or is that just a recommendation? I know you’ve said that it can cause eye burning and irritate the eye, but is it sufficient to let them in for approximately 5-10 hours if you consider wearing them the same day? My question might be a little silly, but I’m curious to know if that timespan would be enough since you stated that the lenses have to get in touch with the new clear solution to avoid any irritation before using and because that timespan sounds long enough to me. Would it be risky? Thank you in advance.
In my experience 24 hours does make a difference! Though I have tried them right out of the box and it’s fine for a while, but I do prefer soaking them for a full day instead - they feel different!
