I just replaced my clutch with a HS Tuning Hybrid Clutch Kit on my 2016 golf R the break in period is absolutely driving me crazy driving like grandma’ for the past two weeks. I’m at 300 miles on it with 200 miles to go 😂😂😂😂
its definitely worth it to get maximum torque capacity and longevity from the clutch!
Would like some info on the Sachs bits....will soon be time to do our MK6 GTI Stage 1 again and those pieces look better still.

Perfect timing, this makes me feel better about the Sachs Performance Dual Mass I just ordered through my local shop. Sachs doesn't seem to be one of the top brands here in the states, but the shop came through.

@@alessandrocedillo1494 I've been happy with it; seems to hold the power better than the stock clutch (I'm EQT Stage 1, and don't plan on going higher). I've burned it a couple of times, just not paying attention, and I've not noticed any deterioration.

When would you recommend going for a single mass flywheel, over a dual mass?
On this application, dual mass has the best customer feedback and longevity

Yes it is the same product
Is this for a Manual or does the DSG box also not hold up well to an ECU tune?
Yes this is for a manual, a DSG box is fine - just needs a DSG tune for the huge torque increase.
Manual = clutch upgrade
DSG = DSG software upgrade
And after dsg tune u will need a new dsg because she will be Fucked like mine from previous owner and new flywheel
Hey i ordered the same clutch kit for my audi and i was told on the website i Brought from FCP euro that i can only use a luk brand flywheel for this exact clutch which i didnt really get if the sachs brand flywheel will not fit the sachs brand clutch called them and they said something about the mounting is different and need a luk brand dmfw to work on this clutch help me any input will be highly appreciated
Best to speak to your supplier, we supply a sachs dmf for use with the sachs kit.

Which sachs clutch between the organic and sintered do you guys find better for these mk7 golf r’s?
Organic for road use, sintered if you want to use it on track and want to do launches.
Organic = stock like engagement, higher torque capacity than stock
Sintered metal = aggressive engagement, higher torque capacity than stock and organic

@@Matt7.5_Rgot the organic and I think it’s a bit crap, doesn’t bite nearly as good as I thought and the bite point is so high it feels like its worn out

Lots of variables, but in our setups they do

Can I ask ya summat my car is slipping wen I put my foot on acceleration even up hill the revs go up more than normal what does that mean ?? Clutch replacement an fly wheel or just clutch ??
If you apply the throttle, revs increase but vehicle speed does not... that is clutch slip. That is of course, assuming your vehicle is not wheel spinning. Both feel very different.
No way to know if yu need a flywheel too until you remove it, but we install flywheels on ≈ 90% of clutch upgrades

Why has the release bearing not been fitted?
