    soo pretty, so many animals; is it still a frech colony? i notice they have french translation in everything also the name of their places.

      It’s interesting that you noticed!
      Yes, it was a French colony many years ago. Hence, People here have imbibed language and culture of French & speak ‘Creole’ which is similar to French, and written similarly.
      Also, little kids compulsory learn to read & write French as a language in school. So that’s how it’s still practiced.

      It’s a part of the insectarium museum. They have been stored for display. There are around 23000 species of insects stored over a period of 30 years by Mr. Jacques Siedlecki.
      We got to know that, if he is there around he explains the visitors the process of how he collected and stored them.
