Japan cars are the same except you can be more lazy with maintaining it, hondas for examlple you can neglect oil changes/coolant etc it will run fine but the engine just gets tarnished. I wonder how that same engine would cope with a turbo on it though due to boost pressures and double to 3x the torque I guess they are alot less strung interms of drive train
TPC38's get down. When I'm ready to move from my IS38, I might end up going with the TPC38. Though I think the TPC20 would be a better fit for my application. I do more touge than rolls.

@@Peylix no no i am familiar with the turbo you had mentioned. i was under the impression it was a different turbo that peter had. im not sure how old this footage is, but peter came from the dtr6054 from apr. I may be wrong. but i dont think it is a tpc38

So the controversy of having the burble tune, it doesn’t really ruin anything in the engine category? I have IE Tune, but I haven’t used or tried the Burble Tune because of what I read on Reddit forums. But someday, I’ll reach this level of modifications on this GTI!! I love your GTI man! 😎
id smoke this thing in my golf. all he did was basic bolt ons.....theres really nothing fancy going on here. nice try to hype him up though. hope he went with some actual perfomance upgrades after you destroyed his character.....
This thing is nasty, glad to be a part of it💪🏽
Ea888 motors are super strong as long as you keep maintaining it right

he's the reason i got a gti lmao i got a chance to talk to him, mad chill
*Pretty Basic Setup" - Upgraded Turbo, Port injection, intake, intercooler, RS3 fuel pump, ECU tune + EQT TCU tune!* - Yeah seems pretty basic to me right? 🤣 Braging Rights mate! 👍
Extremely basic actually 😂
For a mk7 this is what everyone does I think that’s why he call it simple build id assume he spent 7-10k for the mods total
This is pretty basic bolt on stuff, you can find fully built motor gti/r's that get some insane power
I'm going tpc20 the instant spool is crazy , those tpc38s are supercar slayers but I've always preferred is20s instant spool up .
Miss my reflex gti 😣

Peteeeeerrrrrrrr , guaranteed to find cheese itz and gallons of e85 in the back seat always
Hahaha quite right!
Nbs hahaha I had them in there
Did he ask if it had rev matching downshifts when it’s dsg?..
I have the same exhaust on my GTI, except I have a Unitronic DP. Mine sounds identical to your car.
Might want to go back to your old GTI
ive actually seen this car drive around, sounds great!
Next time say what’s up

It's just annoying and sounds stupid

Ive been bangin some ak47 daily on my mk6🤭😂
depends how they get the pops. Probably not the best thing for your car if they dumping mad fuel to achieve it.
Might wanna go catless downpipe or you’ll fuck up your cat.. sounds good. I have similar setup with Eqt Votex XL e85 580 whp
stock motor?!
So 'big turbo' as in what exactly? Is38? EQT Vortex or Vortex XL? DTR6054?
Tcp38
Every VW/audi: It’s stage 🤮 never been on a Dyno
Ive got those wheels on my mk7
Sick
3 engines!
Great video
Hey I follow him on IG clean car 😎

TPC are TERRIBLE turbos. In Colorado they blow up more than any other hybrid. Absolute GARBAGE
bad DA out there for turbos

@@stinkysanchez31 yes in fact it does. The more air going in and coming out makes more power. You muffle it and down goes power.
