Oh my goodness the utter wastefulness of us Americans! I would need to have my truck for all the scrap and a trailer behind it for all of my donate or resell items😍 You would seriously make a lot more money reselling some of what you picked up rather than junking it.

Don't forget to open the bottoms on those dryers; I've heard of people finding $20 - $30 in a single appliance before now. (some guys never clean out their pockets. ) Jewelry too. Gotta love scrap metal that's priced by the ounce! The Jim Croce song is I Got a Name. Had to look that one up myself.
I would also suggest checking inside these things to make sure people did not hide any unwanted junk in them. Kind of like checking fridges and freezers for rotten food.
I personally don't follow any religions, but I appreciate when somebody follows a faith they find hope / comfort in, just as long as they don't use it to justify hate

Before I could pull you up on my phone you said it. I just going to tell you that I recently had to buy a new dryer and when I opened it up I found $65.32 in change. It might be worth it for you to drop the back off of them things and check it. Wouldn't take you a whole lot longer to process just a matter of a few screws and lifted tilt grab the Money and Run.
I found $900 of brand new roof shingles still in the packaging on the side of the road last night! Somebody.posted them on the Free Section of Craigslist!! BOOM!!!!
Hey paul hope all is going well my van that i told you i scrap in blew up on me Saturday and today i finally bought me a truck to scrap in. I got me a 1995 nissan pickup 2wd 4cyl 5sp with ice cold ac. Now I'm ready to hit them streets tomorrow. God Bless you my friend.

I have two ideas for your setup. Search for a log arch. It's a way to load logs onto trailers but would also work for you to lift heavier items into your truck. Also that back crossbar you leave at home most days could be tied to one of the side rails or many contractors will have PVC pipe mounted to the side and they slide things like tools or smaller pipes into it. That way if you need it you already have it but it's not in your way.
One man's trash is another man's treasure. It looks like you got some pretty good stuff. I love to use those trampoline frames to build arches, add a little chicken wire and you have an awesome trellis for climbing plants. If you were able to save a few springs, they make great plant hangers.

Paul I used to take my kids with me going around different neighborhoods garbage picking it was then called in order to have end tables or bookcases or whatever until the kids got older n they didn't want their friends to c them. Greetings from Thailand, Paul, here is a soluction that will help you pay for your gas. Do you know what a croaker-sack is? It's made out of burlap, I believe. Do you have access to one. Actually, any heavy-duty sack will do. Buy one or get one. Fasten it on the side of your truck, prferably hanging on the outside of the rear of your truck. You don't want it to interfere when you put your scrap in the back. Now, start putting all the aluminum cans into it. Have a place at home to store them, don't sell them everytime you unload your other scrap.Let them accumalate and sell them every two-three months. As you probably are aware, aluminum cans are selling 45-47 cents per pound in your area. Try it and I think you will think like I do, it's a good idea. Paul, you need to buy a trailer. The money you are leaving out there could pay for it. I hope you are getting your money's worth from your lift gate. You could have avoided that expense if you would have bought a ramp with rollers. My friend got two for nothing out at his local airport but then he had to turn aroind and spend $50.00 to have some of the rollers replaced as they has stop rolling. Keep a piece of cardboard or melamine(?) to slip over the crack in tailgate. Stuff will not catch but slide. Then lift item and remove for next time
