More vocations will come from the Latin liturgy than the English I'm sure. (Ppl who can study things in Latin are just amazing to me! :) Thank you Bp Gainer.
Sounds good, but I sought a life of holiness. I sought to follow God's calling on my life to the priesthood and to cloistered religious life as either a Carmelite or Carthusian. After several years of trying to deny God's call to the priesthood because I felt myself unworthy, I finally answered the call and tried to follow it back when Bishop Gainer was bishop in Lexington, KY. I felt called to a life of prayer for the poor souls in purgatory who have nobody to pray for them. But I had the door slammed in my face, denied even a proper discernment process. I guess when the Latin mass, and traditional Catholicism becomes "trendy", people come over to that side of things and jump on the band wagon. Just too bad he, or the people in his vocations office, didn't feel this way 12 years ago.
@Gracia Singh Thank you for the encouraging words. It's hardest when I hear clergy begging God for vocations and when I see those who were acceptable as priests spreading false teachings and doing vile things. I can't help but wonder how the Church can find them as acceptable in the priesthood but not me. It deeply hurts. But I will never turn from my Lord and his Mother.

I pray that Bishop Gainer will provide more locations in his diocese for the celebration of the Latin Mass.
precisely
I think a place like this would be a good spot to park Cupich, Wuerl, Tobin, and McElroy. It might save their souls from hell.
Just a thought? Genesis, Cain and Abel, Two sacrifices, One good and one not so good. One honored God and one honored man.
