Really, really helpful video. Thanks a lot dude. Watched it from start to finish three times, then the fourth time I followed along, pausing the video when necessary.......did it first time!!! Really pleased. Seems very solid and secure and fits cleanly with my case.
I can see why this isn't for everyone though as it takes some patience and time which people don't seem to have/want these days.
It said in the instructions that "99.99% of failed installations are down to not following the instructions" and I can totally see that.
Just a tip for anyone planning on doing this - don't clean the screen first....there's too many other bits of preparation to do and you risk dust getting on the screen. The best time to clean the screen is just before you insert the phone into the already prepared guide.
Also the glue only comes out once you've twisted the black end, so you can even prepare the glue before cleaning the screen.
In other words:
1. Prepare the guide
2. Put sticker guard on phone
3. Prepare the glue
4. THEN clean the screen
5. Immediately put the phone in place
6. Immediately twist prepared glue
7. Immediately apply glue to the screen
8. Immediately peel off the sticker from the tempered glass and place it on the screen
9. Continue as shown in the video
That way there's very little time for any dust to land on it. That's what I did anyway and it's flawless.

I put on screenprotectors right after showering hot in the bathroom. The steamy air prevents dust, so you can take your time and dont be super fast with everything.

I did good my first try I had a air bubble but I was very patient and worked it out.
I had the whitedome and amflilm tempered glass on a few previous phones and oh man are they nerve racking. I need one asap for my S23 Ultra but I dread the process lol.
I hear ya. Just something about putting liquid on a twelve hundred dollar phone. That's why I've always gone with the dry install film.

Hi I really love your video reviews about screen protectors what's good and what's not good however I tried your method of taking the red cap off twisting the little black tab off and turning the other end and got the glue leaking everywhere totally messed up completely, I went back to the amazon UK instructional video and they show keeping the red cap on and twisting the other end off and hey presto the glue just flows out nicely with just a tiny squeeze and doing it this way NO seeping leaking glue all over my fingers and everywhere else, doing it this way is much easier
It is literally impossible to get this screen protector installed without any dust underneath due to the amount of time it takes to prep the screen and apply the adhesive prior to laying the screen protector on top. My OCD will not stand for this.
if you have a sticky tape you could just pick any particles from the screen after you put it down, i am not advocating for this kind of screen protector though, just thought it could be helpful, i bought the s23 ultra few weeks ago, tried a bunch of screen protectors and non of them worked for me unfortunately and just decided to go with the phone naked

Jkjk tbh my house tends to be pretty dusty so I would almost always have that problem when installing screen protectors.
Oh man I totally get the OCD comment, Ive been researching screen protector for this damn s23 ultra for a long while now. Can't stand the ones with the finger print circle ...so ugly and they slide off the phone ...help lol

What about in etui?
I bought it and have just used it. It really works without any problems. The fingerprint sensor also works without any problems.

I made two attempts at installing this protector and both times, the protector started to lift after a couple hours. I'd like to think I followed the instructions to the T but maybe I did something wrong?

@Zay Will well with the in display finger print scanner its hard to make a glass screen protector without that annoying circle, a liquid installation can get rid of that issue

I scanned the QR code and watched the video and there was no moving back and forth of the UV light. I followed the video to the letter, left my case off overnight. Next day, put my case on, within a few days, the bottom left and right corners started to come up. Took it off, cleaned the screen and tried it again. Same results!! And that adhesive smells awful! So, I went back to a regular old glass screen protector and no problems since installed, two weeks ago! I will not be buying this liquid adhesive kit again!!
How did this compare to the White dome version?
I could never get the white dome right but it's been a few years since I tried. I like this one though
Is the mowei clear tempered glass the same as the gatatol clear tempered glass ? Got 2 packs of moweis but got bubbles on all of them lol.... Should i try the gatatol one ?
You should take your phone to someone who knows how to install a screen protector.
Who ? Are you talking like her representative at a Verizon store for example because there's nothing differentiating that person from us if you've ever seen them put one on before they make mistakes just like we do
@@Bush0369 no I mean myself. I got 2 packs aka 6 pieces of moweis and I followed the instructions everytime, at least I don't think I did any mistake. And it's not mu first time doing it :p
Is it not necessary to tape the speaker opening before installation?
It is. You don't want glue to go in there. All buttons and openings must must be covered. S pen must be removed

Love my 23 ultra but these damn curved screens just aren't it. I've yet to find a case friendly protector. Hoping Samsung leaves the curved screen fad soon.

How would you crack the protector while installing it? If you install it like I did in the video you should be fine.
I agree. I say type in the name of the screen protector in TH-cam and watch the installation video the scan card had it in another language and watch his too. But yeah it worked for me and I'm clumsy 😅😅

this is the worse tempered glass, I bought this and I cured for 20 mins and I put on my case and it started raising on the corners

@@HighTechCheck my thoughts exactly. The first thing the instructions say is "99.99% of people that don't succeed in instalation don't follow the instructions correctly." Enough said really.

how do you clean the glue of the screen when the protector cracks?
Tempered glass is the worst for curved screens.
I would never put any kind of liquid on my screen, and ruin it!
You just need to carefully work a credit card or something all the way around the protector until it releases.
