our styles are completely different and I enjoyed watching you flip through the journal 😍 Good luck with your 2024 separated setup! I found it works best for me to have reading and other stuff separately :D
🖊 I'm interested to hear how using a pre-made reading journal will be for you! I never thought about covering up the pages you're not interested in using and customizing them 😅 that's why I've never gotten a premade one. But it's so clever!!
🖋I think I'll be taking a break from keeping a physical reading journal this year. I'm trying out Notion for my tracking instead...we'll see how it goes...right now during setup I'm regretting this decision 😅 but once that's done I think it'll be good!
In the last few years I have been keeping a physical book journal, partly for making videos/content but mostly book reviews-- it's not fancy nor has many spreads. Also started personal journaling in 2020ish, and have always kept that separate from the book stuff. Was interesting to see your flip through! I love how much cards/tickets/ephemera you keep as souvenirs! ✒✒🖋🖊
I keep both book journals and regular memory keeping journals. I started several of each when I was a teen and added to them off and on over the years. Now, decades later, I continue to keep book journals and various other journals. It’s great to see the resurgence of the book journal habit amongst younger people! Great job on your journal!! 🖊️
january is absolutely always blue, months for sure have corresponding colors lmao
💯
January is definitely blue..lol
Thank you for sharing your 2023 journal with us! I hope the separated journals work for you in 2024. A few years ago This method really worked for me!
I used to do the separate but combined while on booktube, but back to separate again 😂
Your journal is awesome! Have fun with your new reading journal! 🖊
The new journal looks good, I like the idea of a reread month, a nice way to round out the year
🖊 so impressive you keep up with your reading journal in addition to your reading schedule and upload schedule!
my planning self just has to do it 😂
I like how you include some real life stuff with your reading journal!

thank you! I've already noticed that I like doing the individual spreads for each book when I have the time!

so far it's going okay! I've stuck with the normal set up for each review so far, but I might start changing those up too!

Notion setup is sooooo frustrating haha.
yeah, the initial set up can be really rough, but once you get your flow, it's second nature!
I call b.s. on no more free food on the trivia night!!🤬

I love journaling to look back on but I haven't kept up on it the last couple years. Great job!
Thanks so much! 😊
