Thank you so much for filming this and sharing your journal with us. I am about to start creating my first reading journal and hearing about how you started and your progression was so helpful. Plus you have a very calming voice and despite the fact that our reading preferences do not align at all, I really enjoyed hearing about your favorite books. I'm off to now watch your set up video for 2024.
I love your monthly spreads! My favorites are February and November. I know you said you don't think you're good at the collage type but November looked really good to me! Definitely saving your video for when I start my reading journal. I can't wait to see what other videos you make!
Thank you for sharing I absolutely love it 😀 also love the way you explain everything 🙏👌 xx I also use the sprocket 200 proper game changer ❤️ look forward to more videos much book love from Scotland 🙏💙🏴 xx
Loved joining you in your progression through this journal 🤩 2023 was my first time documenting my reading and it's one of my favorite things to do now.
Thank you for sharing!! I was curious about what the highlighting meant on the November 2023 books read spread. Maybe I missed the explanation. I love getting ideas for my own reading journal, so thanks again!!!
Sorry, I don't know if I mentioned that! Since I liked so many books in November, I highlighted all my favorites for the month. Thanks so much for watching!
Hi, I just found your channel, and I really enjoyed this video. My taste in books is similar to yours, and I really liked the pages you dedicated to tbr books by authors. I have several authors that I need to catch up on, and using your spreads will help me get organized. I plan to use the same style with some of my series as well. I'm just bursting with ideas now. 🎆🐟🦦🖋
How do you mark which ones are audio books? I have a journal but differentiate audio, because it’s different than reading, but I’m looking for ideas on how to decorate an audiobook.
I don't differentiate between audio, ebook, or physical. I represent them all the same way, with the printed out book cover. But I know some people will differentiate it with putting headphones to show it's an audiobook.
@@biblio_creepebooks I don’t differentiate because you’re reading the words. Even if the words were on a stone tablet I would consider it reading. Audiobooks ( because it’s an entirely different way to experience a story, using your auditory senses) are the ones I separate. I don’t even count them on my reading total I count them on my audio book total. I try to listen to 10 Audiobooks a year.
My big recommendation is Mary by Nat Cassidy (if you like horror). I cannot sing it's praises enough. Also, I just re-read Annihilation by Jeff VanderMeer. It's one of my favorites of all time, it's surrealist, weird, horror. Also, anything by Catriona Ward, and any horror by T. Kingfisher. My favorite T. Kingfisher was The Hollow Places - so chilling! And then for classics, I would recommend anything by Shirley Jackson.
I loved all of your spreads!! Also, the books that you read…chef kiss! 👌🏾
Thank you!!! 🥰

Could you please make a video about the titles book covers and their authors name because black and white doesn't show clearly, thank you .
