How rude to call Elvis a nobody, How Elvis kept his dignity after, wow.
Elvis was always so well mannered, so polite , respectful and so grateful for all that had come his way .
He speaks so candidly, and so humbly, that reporter sure could have learnt a lesson in manners from him.
So young here with the world as his oyster, can we just turn back time, please .

I’ve heard it said as he got older and had people at his house he would hold his bible and he told people about the Bible, and Jesus. The people he had there would listen to him for a long time. His momma told him when he was young that maybe someday he would tell people about Jesus. He did. He always had at least one or two gospel songs in his concerts. He loved gospel music. God bless this very humble caring man.

She would wake up to the sound of daddy’s voice singing downstairs. She said it gave her such a secure loved feeling! Even as busy as daddy was he always took tine for her! She never had a doubt that daddy loved her more than anything and told her about Jesus. I find it is so wonderful that at every concert no matter where it was or when he sang at least one gospel song! And then at times he had just the back up quartet guys sing a gospel song! Elvis loved Jesus!

That stuff in our system is self hatred from governments and religions not making us feel not enough. Making us feel we have aggressive and stubborn behavior used for survival on earth. Religions and governments teaches us to compress it. This create fears and triggers and it created during childhood. Adults when we are kids tells we are bad for being kids and acting like kids. They expect us to be act like adults in kids body. We grow , but in side we are hurt child with fear toward the world. Fear of getting hurt. We take the adults bullying , then turn on ourselves. We become a bully toward ourselves. We hate others, because we hate ourselves.

@@kirarasmom4274 Elvis was fascinated by power and had almost a slavish respect for authority. His blatant sexuality had made him famous, but he also was shy, modest, mommy's boy. These multiple aspects of his personality seemed to enhance his image, accounting for the way his appeal bridged cultural, economical, and generational gaps all over the world. Women could Lust after him or want to mother him or be his little sister. He was so macho enough for young studs to admire, but he was also devoutly religious and believed in family values. In a strange way, Elvis has become Everyman. There was always some part of him that struck a responsive chord in the listener- as if he had become a part of you, or you of him. - Joyce Bova (Elvis Girlfriend 1968-1973)

If this interviewer w e r e to see this interview that he conducted with Elvis and his earlier years, and realize how Elvis developed a s an artist I hope he feels foolish and would have maybe wish he could have interviewed him again and that would have been commendable.

What the heck what it is you do you call a singing at least that's what they say the interviewer says he should be ashamed of himself and I bet he got surprised that Elvis answered very intelligent 3 by saying how many records he sold so somebody calls it singing Elvis s LOL that was pretty clever! Maybe an interview or in those days will think twice before they interview him again after seeing this!

This interviewer smells of underlying jealousy or Elvis and the way he try to rush Elvis finish what he was saying but he finally did and I find that rude to Elvis that Elvis is so pure he did not resent it he just wanted to finish what he was saying I thought that was pretty great that Elvis said please let me finish what I'm saying and and probably didn't find fault with the interviewer saying did he had to go rude rude rude what's this interview in my opinion lack of Grace that's why Elvis will prevail he had more class and a pure heart in this interview I was trying to explain things as he saw it. Good for you Elvis you got to finish and I hope you never let this jerk interview you again

This interviewer, was a real jerk. I'm sure
he was Green with envy, his tone of voice,
he was just creepy at best. ELVIS handled
it...smooth and easy, like the Sweet Southern
      Gentleman he was! ✌️❤️♾️✝️😇

How’s your voice now? Singing constantly also changes the voice. The vocal chords are a muscle that changes or grows over time with use and Elvis actively worked to improve his vocal range and singing ability his whole life.

Did he? There are pictures of his dressing room door with a big no smoking sign they put on it and a lot of people that knew him claim he used a cigarette as a prop because he thought it looked cool but he never actually smoked it. He himself says in interviews that he doesn’t smoke.

@@kevinkelly5569Nope, he did not smoke like a regular smoker. Elvis liked cigarillos...easier to pretend to be smoking with em. He never inhaled, jus blew the smoke straight out.

I beg to differ. June Juanico 1956.
She was the love of his too. Once you read her book, you find June throughout his life. She was the one that got away. He bought Graceland FOR HER, she started his spiritual book obsession & The Prophet by Khalil was given to him by her July of 1956... it was on his night stand the day he died. He bought other copies and gave them to friends but always kept hers, these picture of her were in his office her whole life, they came up with the TCB 🤣 code for the Memphis mafia (Red, Gene & The guys) The cherry Busters 🤭🤫, she died her hair black and he LOVED them matching with both blue eyes... sound familiar? Gladys loved her so much she told Elvis to marry her. He recorded songs he sang to her all throut his life. He checked on her throughout their lives last time in 1977. She even met him at the movies in 1965, and all the guys knew exactly who she was by name when they seen her in Memphis in the 1960s then invited her to the movies. Elvis and her picked names for their babies, Lisa Marie was the girl they chose. Marie is a family name for June. She seen him in Vegas several times. He pulled her into a closet and told her he loved her and thought of her his entire life. He asked if they made the right choices, and said he would take her if she just said the word... she told him she was married and had children. She said he told her 1956 is his most cherished time of his life and he quoted from the Prophet which is the title of her book. Those same verses he wrote in his Bible, Inside 'The Impersonal Life' and one a card in his wallet. I own a bunch of auction catalogs and I find pieces of June sprinkled on notebooks, in Journals with their numerology, even while he was with Priscilla & Linda. I am Happily married my self but I too look back at my first love with a full heart. To be young again!
Here is the verses he & she shared from The Prophet:
It was but yesterday we met in a dream.
You have sung to me in my aloneness,
and I of your longings have built a tower in the sky.
But now our sleep has fled and our dream is over,
and it is no longer dawn.
The noontide is upon us and our half-waking has turned to fuller day,
      and we must part.
If in the twilight of memory we should meet once more,
we shall speak again together and
you shall sing to me a deeper song.
And if our hands should meet in another dream
we shall build another tower in the sky.
If in the twilight of memory we should meet once more, we shall speak again together and you shall sing to me a deeper song.
And if our hands should meet in another dream, we shall build another tower in the sky.
      Kahlil Gibran, The Prophet
ITS BEAUTIFUL. Says Everything he felt 🥰😇

Thank you for sharing this. I do agree that June was his true love. I enjoyed reading her book. He never forgot her nor found another like her. I've wondered if that is why he would never fully commit to another woman. Elvis mentioned once, "My heart was broken when a girl I loved upped and married another guy." I'm certain he was referring to June.

Guess what , Mother nature and Divine gave it to us.
What not good is how we use the aggressive and stubborn. But reason why we get over aggressive and stubborn from hurt . Deep , past hurt.
