STUDENT My mom says I talk too much, My dad says I never think before I speak, now what do you say?? TEACHER I'll be rather pleased if you open your mind before your mouth
Suppose i'm going to office with my dad for some assistance and i want my friend also to join us, so Can i say, "may he come with us to office". Is this statement correct? Correct me if it is.
Yes, that works fine. An even more natural way to say it would be "May he come to the office with us?" or since you are talking with your father it is okay to be more casual so I would probably say, "Can he come to the office with us?". But what you said was perfectly okay!
This is correct, but a more natural way of saying it could be "My brother is all grown up". But what you said also works. But I don't know which tense it is, I'm a native English speaker so I never really think about tenses and such
Mr.Jason E. Cruz President Home Owners Association. Sir/Madam; Greetings! In behalf of our association(FKKDA).May we request your good office to use the Fatima West Plain Subdivision Covered Court as our venue for our Christmas Party this coming December 23,2023. Christmas is just around the corner to celebrate the birth of Jesus Humbly ask your favor to have our letter for correction? Thanks
Yes, that is the correct way to ask for this. Either "could you give me a napkin?" or "Can you give me a napkin" work. "Could" is more polite in this sense

Do we need an article 'the' or 'a' in this phrase "May I have permission to ..." before permission? like: May I have the/a permission to ...
No, you do not use an article before "permission"
GIVE example Thanks
Nice
Ma'am please clear doubt about " my brother is grown up". is it correct or not? Which tense is it?
This is correct, but a more natural way of saying it could be "My brother is all grown up". But what you said also works. But I don't know which tense it is, I'm a native English speaker so I never really think about tenses and such

Yes, that is the correct way to ask for this. Either "could you give me a napkin?" or "Can you give me a napkin" work. "Could" is more polite in this sense

*I am Ana. I am looking for someone willing to study English with me*
yeah ana am ready
@@hamzesameer3704 You need "I" there. Just saying "am ready" doesn't work or sound right. "I am ready" is correct and sounds a lot better
@@Mjll hahaha.
Ana I am ready to study with you. I am sherin sabu.
