@Shawn Huffman nah we've got a 160 horsepower 320 in there. Its got the metal wing spar upgrade which makes people feel a little better about yanking on the controls though!

“New underwear to Bryan in hangar 6”. Seriously, that’s sooo cool. Well worth the wait to watch it. Merry Christmas To you and your family Bryan. May 2021 bring us all more of your comic genius!
This video is second favorite ever only to the one I have on my phone of you and Katie. Your love for the straight and level is what makes you a safe (while still goofy) pilot. Add, I am NOT saying SS isn’t a safe pilot... just that everyone of those maneuvers is a scientific and aerodynamically precise function.... not just push the throttle, twist the stick and go in a Cirrus kinda way flying... Love watching the edits as Tiberius, Katie and I sip our beverages and laugh at your discomfort. 🙃
Haha thank you. And my apologies to Katie for leaving some of the swear words in. There were a couple places I chose not to bleep them because they were a result of the real panic I was feeling in the moment. I really try not to do that but this time (even if my mom sees it) I wanted to convey just how out of my comfort zone I was. It will be rare on this channel but I gave it a lot of thought before choosing not to edit them all out.
Spencer... you make flying that way look effortless!! I was lucky enough to get 2 forty-five minute flights in a lowly Citabria a long time ago and absolutely loved it! BrYan... you did very well ! Hope you realize how fortunate you are to have a friend in Spencer , even if he weren't a fellow pilot! Thanks guys and Blue Skies!
That front seat is super reclined. It is like a recumbent bike. I think so the pilot in back can see over the passenger. But your legs go far forward and the acro fuel tank is basically in your lap. I have decided in the event of an emergency, the parachute was just for looks. There is no getting out of that plane quickly.
I always thought inverted flight would be fun. Got in a Decathlon and rolled it inverted. Pretty miserable hanging upside down! I like your honesty during this video. Most guys would act all macho like they enjoy every bit of it. People will get a good idea of what it’s really like from watching.
100%. I just recently got checked out to rent a Decathlon for aerobatics, and I quickly learned that negative Gs are not fun. I still do inverted flight to keep myself comfortable with it for safety reasons and such, but I tend to save it for the end of the flight so as not to spoil the fun stuff like the barrel rolls, reverse half cubans, and hammer heads ;)
Ive done the owner's course. We did the regular flat spin and it was awesome. Out of all the things, the half cuban made me a bit nauseous. Its that upside down thing with Gs i guess. I had no issues with rolls or split S's. Great video. I also inhaled the exact same time you did right after the inverted spin 😂
That was so cool and honestly you handled it like a champ as far as I'm concerned. The only maneuver I've done in an airplane was spins. The first one I definitely didn't care much for it, but that did get better the more we did of course. Thank you for sharing this Bryan.
@@JustPlaneSilly Too many years ago to count, my wife got me an hour in a Super Decathalon with an aerobatic instructor for my 30th birthday. Best hour of my life. We did everything you did except for the inverted flat spin.
Well done on doing that! I've had a similar passenger ride in an Extra 300 which can be seen on my TH-cam channel. I was also subjected to flatspins only mine were not inverted. If only I'd known about inverted flatspins at the time.
I'm with you Brian with a Y... That flat spin looks terrifying. I remember doing basic aerobatics with my old fella when I was a pup. But the Flat Spin has nope written all over it. I'll stick with showing the kids the floating bottle in my Jabiru thanks hahaha.
That was amazing. I did UPRT with APS in Arizona on the Extra 300L as well. I concur that negative Gs isn't fun. I confess that I chickened out when they offered an inverted spin. Normal spins were really fun though.
You did good Brian. I wasn’t a huge fan I inverted flat spins myself. I wish you would have that the chance to try tight formation flight ( like two feet or less when the air is smooth) or even formation aerobatics. I’m still hoping to see a tumble in the last video of this series!!
Bryan , just like me taking the family drive up Pikes Peak last week , it was great and a great idea until about halfway up and realizes WTF did I get us into after looking down. I am a pilot and scared of heights! Great video series!
I drove up that peak in July and I couldn't even glance at the passenger side of the car. I locked my eyes on that cliff wall and didn't swallow for 10 full minutes. It was terrifying.
I am no idea why or how I’m here. I know nothing about planes but it looked really fun! You must have been very high for the buoyancy of the water bottle to match the air. I would be so scared! 😬
Yep. It is actually a free fall. We push the plane down and the plane and it starts falling so you are just falling down at the same speed as the bottle. Its a lot of fun but can be unsettling at first. Thank you for watching.
@@esmecohen_23 Thank you very much. IT is mostly a comedy channel but aviation content so some of the jokes are aviation specific but hopefully you find some laughs here. Thank you for subscribing!

I don't know if that's a Garmin product, or if it's done externally in software or what, but it IS pretty cool. I'm not quite sure if Bryan is completely performing comedy in this video.

You can do all those maneuvers in a Grumman , well once anyway if you had enough Grumman's for each maneuver and willing pilots.
“I’m really unhappy” I almost chocked I snorted so violently.
You looked so uncomfortable the whole time. LOL What an experience though! I'm jealous.
The spinny view was my favorite.
Kudos on doing all that.
My Grumman doesn't do that... So I never plan to do that in ANY plane. LOL!
