Kathmandu to Hetauda via Kulekhani - Latest Road Condition

In this video, I will show you the road upgrade activities from Kathmandu to Hetaunda via Farfing and Kulekhani. You can see both completed and under-construction roads.
Upgrading the 6 km road from Heavy to Sisneri in Kulekhani is underway. The work was started according to the objective of widening the road of about 11.5 km length from Kathmandu via Chitlang to Terai via Bhimfedi.
This road is being worked on in three sections and overseen by three bodies. The state government has already called for tenders for the most dangerous and narrow Bhimfedi-Kulekhani road in that section.
The part towards Kathmandu is covered by the Bhaktapur-Nagarkot-Sipaghat-Balkhu-Dakshinkali road scheme under the road improvement project. The project towards Makwanpur has been contracted by Road Division Hetauda and has now been handed over to the Infrastructure Development Office Chitwan. The 15.6 km road from Kulekhani to Humanevnjang is being upgraded under the road from Hetaunda in Makwanpur district via Farping to Kathmandu.
75% of the work of the upgradation of the 15.6 km road from Heavy to Humanevnjang at Kulekhani, along with 4.50 km of culverts, retaining walls, construction of drains, and 4.50 km of 6.50 m wide road has been completed.
Upgradation of the road from Bhaise to Bhimphedi under the Hetaunda-Bhimphedi-Kathmandu short-distance route has been delayed.
Upgradation of the road has not been able to accelerate even after the laying of the foundation stone for almost four years.
Only about 6 months are left for the contract period but no material progress has been seen.
