Sam's Second Downhill (215 Part 5/5)

This was Sam's second EVER downhill (and it's a 10 mile downhill) so I was a bit concerned. Sam had a great time, and since then has gotten stoked on sliding and the sky's the limit, as far as crazy mountain skatepacking goes in the future.

We are all about accessibility and reducing the barrier of entry to skating. So I have this tool I've made, the skate parachute. It slows the rider down so they don't get too outta control to footbreak until they can learn to slide and ride faster. I've had someone whose NEVER used a longboard bomb the backside of elk and the parkway. It's kooky, but if you're trying to convince someone downhill is fun, do you show them a 30 minute downhill, or a 30 second neighborhood road? It's pretty obvious.

The chute is genius, can you make a video on this topic? From a open zip up heavy jacket to purpose made chutes....air braking is so overlooked!!
