Since you mentioned about saving money and trying to keep your expenses low.
Why not minimize your driving trips on a daily basis . Except for work and short errands . I’ve noticed that you always leave your house way too early before work and just drive around town and hang out in your car . Just leave your house say 15 to 20 mins before work. Therefore you get some extra time relaxing or doing stuff around your apartment .
Just something I noticed about you Kuya Rob is you’re always excited going about your day and starting early. You already have your drivers license . You are doing well.
Unnecessary driving will save you hundreds of dollars each month if you pay attention to it . G’day mate and cheers !

Next time your in Sydney come down to Brighton-Le-sands beach , more beaches are connected to it like ramsgate , dolls point & sans souci .. its 5 mins drive from Sydney airport . It’s the St George area of Sydney, just an idea for next time.There’s also a lot of Filipino restaurants in the
St George area aswell such as kogarah , Bexley & Rockdale all nice Filipino restaurants & This is all 10 mins drive from the airport aswell. Just an idea 😊

Make some sandwiches and banana bread and keep them in the freezer so you can just grab some to take with you when you travel. Or some plastic containers of meals. They will thaw as you travel, and you needn't go hungry.
