In Sweden artists and actors etc are openly gay, write obviously gay lyrics, there are gay characters in tv-series and movies and there are no controversy or question if it's suitable for children or not. Like take Beatrice Eli's song 'Girls,' no one minded it being played on radio or performed on TV or children listening to it.
