Many may not know Link Wray but he had a big influence on Pete townshend, Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young and Jimmy Page. He invented the power chord and was the first guitar player with a heavy distorstion sound. His song Rumble was even bannend on the English radio. His music was the start of the Rock music from the 60's 70's and 80's. This is not he original version. I played all the instruments exept the drum.

Link Wray kende ik al wat langer. Dit nummer pas sinds vrijdag. Wist gelijk dat ik er wat mee moest doen. Heb voor de preset een Trainwreck Liverpool versterker gebruikt. Dat is een hele zeldzame versterker die een compleet unieke sound heeft. Groet, David

Hoorde het nummer vrijdag ook pas voor het eerst. De distortion hier gebruikt is puur van de versterker. Heb er geen distortion of boost pedaal voor gebruikt. Distortion gebruiken is in het begin wat onwennig omdat alles veel gevoeliger is mar zeker een aanrader om is te proberen. Is erg leuk. Groet, David
I know Link Wray (Rumble and a few other songs) and its distorted and stabbing sound (I don't like it) ... I hear this song for the first time and it is good!
