I found you only need about 10 wraps of the braid tag end around the fluoro / mono loop.then about 5 times with the tag end through the loop, and you MUST pull the slack of the live and tag ends of the braid equally a little at a time, If you make a lot of wraps around the fluoro / mono loop, it just makes it harder to go through guides or lay flat well on a reel spool. You also need to clip the tag end of the fluoro / mono as close to the braid as you can, nail clippers work well, and don't use a lighter like some show, as that has a good chance of heating and weakening the braid.

I find that your FG method is all I need.
This knot is harder than an FG imo.
I have trouble with the reliability of these other knots.
FG for me.
in my experience when fishing I always use the fg knot, but sometimes I also use alberto or albright if I want to be faster when making a knot 😊
@pescadorestamora I find it slower when I test the knot and it breaks like cotton and I have to retie again.
@@redtobertshateshandles is it possible that something went wrong when you tied it friend, because when I tied this knot and when I pulled it hard it didn't break. as I said above, I even use it for fishing if I want to go fast
