- Yes! It's true! A tank upgrade did happen!
Sooooooooooooo excited about the whole setup. I've been on the fast track in getting this tank going, so i apologize for the lack of updates within TH-cam. But if you followed me on instagram @mightynanotank you would've been a bit more up-to-date :D

New set up is looking super sweet! Nice way of mounting the Gyre, could hardly tell that it’s even there 👍

Great update Mighty, I never met IR but from all his videos he seems like a great guy.
He is an awesome individual outside of TH-cam as well. I can't say the same for other TH-camr's that I have met, but InappropriateReefer is a very down to earth person.
I have a channel as well and there can be some harsh people out there.

the trigger sumps are a work of art. put the trigger as your display haha. I like it a lot. plenty of space and diff compartments for different things.

How did the icecap k1 skimmer end up working out? Are you still using it?
Hey Brett - I've been holding off on my review of the icecap skimmer because I was trying to get a feel for the protein skimmer in my 60g. Now that I have an idea of what's a good skimmate and what's a so-so-skimmate... I'm going to say, the icecap skimmer is just o-kay for me. not crazy impressed with it. kind of works, kind of doesn't. it makes a gurgling sound often and i'll have to re-prime the skimmer.
