After years of neglect and getting killed off once, Sharena deserves this. And her being a duo with Veronica just makes this slap even harder. A must summon banner for me
Technicaly its harder to activate, since you can only activate it after you proc her normal refresh after an ally attacks, still powerfull but you cant just run in kill something and then activate the duo skill like the ninjas, you need to have an ally attack an enemy first b4 youre able to activate her duo skill.
I thought it couldn't get worse than Drive Miracle and Drive Deadeye, but apparently I don't know shit I guess because they're giving us Drive Galeforce
I'm liking the idea of Beast Assault 4 on Caineghis if he can inherit it. DR Piercing is ultra premium on armors considering all they had was Special Spiral before. His base weapon already covers a Guaranteed Follow-Up and Distant Counter. He can also run Special Fighter as a Seal so he doesn't need Guard or Breath from his A or B slot and he can get non pierceable DR from his Special Slot. I think there's potential there
So... hypotetically... Sharena could attack, Galeforce, get refreshed by Lapis attacking, act again due to [SHARED SPOILS], and Duo-skill for a 5th action... damn!
My orbs are screwed this month as I’m probably going to summon for this banner (Embla and Sharena) and the emblem banner. I can finally use Leila in AR-O with Embla again and I hope it works out.
Yeah, they didn't even bother with inflicting gravity after refreshing like Marianne. The game gets some bs effects where mixed or enemy phasing is impossible, and then they decide to try and fix it by doubling down on the forced Galeforce/player phase meta, and say "here's a bunch of great galeforcing tools." This is the issue with these broken units, I want to summon them because I like them, but then don't want to use them because they trivialize the game in every other context other than AR or Arena. It doesn't help that their kits are almost fully minmaxed to the point that all creativity in building them is just tossed out. Is very unfulfilling to use and "build" these kinds of units, even if they are a counter to the most toxic units in the game.
Didn't think Nel would be put into the game this early, but I'm certainly not complaining, and to make matters even better bridal Lapis, what a banner.
Okay, I stopped playing FEH years ago. I don't know why this popped up in my feed, but I was curious to see what's changed since I've been gone. Let me see if I understand Shareena's correctly: From her weapon she gets 4 move killer effect +20 attack and speed immunity to skills that manipulate Follow ups 20% of her speed as bonus damage up to 24 (36?) healing every combat. Her A skill gives +10 attack and speed -12 damage taken -12 more against skills Her B skill gives -4 spd/def on foe 30% damage reduction A... third attack? That does 40% more damage? Imma be real I don't understand this skill... While her C skill gives her Canto that she is allowed to use again +4 to all stats another 40% damage reduction (are these additive or multiplicative. Is this 70% total or 58%?) guard immunity and an extra turn While her duo skill gives her a third turn? Did I read that right? Please tell me I read that wrong. Because if I read that right, I genuinely think if she had literally 0 in every stat she STILL would have been broken when I played...

Its really strong in AR-O still. You no longer need to one round an enemy to maximize turn efficiency. It can lead to crazy set ups for Galeforce chains
I mean, they are not really expecting her to kill by giving her Escutcheon. She just needs to enter combat with a fairly tanky unit and she will not kill.

I want to ask is it good to build them with the base kit or I should find better unit. Also should I get all the unit from the banner. You should build units that are your favorite because it's common for power creep to make most units unviable in a few months. So it's good to just stick with the units you like the best. Id probably summon on this banner if I was new just to build up my barracks a little.
Those units are all really good and have great base kits. I would say wait for this new Bride banner before summoning any more, the units here are pretty crazy

For skills "reduce damage by 80% if it's first combat initiated by unit OR first combat initiated by enemy" why does it make this distinction? Why doesn't it just say "sfor the first combat that turn"? Does it mean it can activate once in player phase and once in enemy phase?
Certain skills do specify that they are once per turn, like Guard Bearing for example. But a lot of units just have damage reduction on the enemies first attack. For the ones that say "first combat" it is only once per turn. You can chalk up the lengthy description to them being terrible at wording lol
This banner is completely cracked. Duo Sharena and Embla are basically required. I am MIGHTILY tempted to go whole hog and whale to +10 Sharena, she’s that freakin cracked.
Isn't [Share Spoils] only applied to the unit that Lapis attacks? The AoE is just damage, it doesn't look like the effect spreads with the AoE. It seems like the intended effect is just making sure that if she doesn't kill whoever she initiates on, whoever warps in after can finish off the kill for free. Most of the time Lapis is probably just going to be killing what she attacks in like 90%+ of scenarios, but this just pretty much guarantees that the first unit dies for free.
She wont always kill a Near save unit. I think the idea is to have her attack, shut down the enemies Pavise, get out of the way, and then let you warp in with somebody else. Kind of funny that they released this on the same banner as Embla though, but Embla does have an existing answer in King Freyr. There really isn't a way to protect yourself from Lapis.

So am I right that you can effectively attack 11 times per turn now. Without problems to get to the enemies thanks to Lapis. I mean you could do it before, but now its easier than ever. Who let bro cook at this point? I had the exactly same reaction to that Sharena unit, but I'm really happy to see Sharena as a unit again. I hope I can get a copy of her at least. After the fallen banner another must summon banner for me. I hoped to get a short time for saving my orbs for a eventually Níðhöggr unit, because the bridal banner was never interesting for me but this one is nuts.
An actual good bridal banner for once!? Well kit/gameplay design wise at least..but still impressive nevertheless. Let's see them keep this up next year.

The good part about her base unit at least is that she still fills a great niche of negating Savior, so she hasn't been tossed out of the meta yet. Hopefully, we get the Atk/Def and Def/Res versions too. Also, granting free Time’s Pluse 3 and 5 is pretty insane. I’m so glad they finally gave us a good B Beast skill for B! Embla, cause her Mythic Alt’s B Beast Skill was and still is trash. B!Embla’s art is so stunning. B!Lapis, noooo! I’m cooked, I spent all my F2P orbs trying to +10 L!M!Byleth on his remix banner. I’ll be happy with just one copy, because she’s so pretty, oh my goodness. Nel is the demote?! Now I’m really cooked. I really hope she doesn’t stay in Alt hell, cause she’s one of my favourite Engage characters. This banner is out for my orbs, omg! Sharena Alt with Veronica, about damn time my favourite Askran girl got a good alt. Joel must be going crazy rn lol.
As a Ranulf fan, it works great! I run my Ranulf with the Atk/Spd Wild, Atk/Spd Ruse 4, Atk/Def Menace (looking to get this one replaced with some Def/Res Smoke 3 fodder someday), Rally Atk/Def+, and Galeforce. He's both a support and offensive unit (but also thanks to his decent Def stat he's not TOO brittle) that I use in a beast team with Caineghis, but the Atk/Spd Wild skill is just a lifesaver with Galeforce. He can attack AND retreat back to support the other units. You won't regret it.
@@TheChildofAuraReborn Yeah, plus with his refined prf weapon, he can do some pretty good raw damage. I might make him purely offensive cause Beast Assault 3 is too good to pass up on, especially with nullifying half DR. I might also give him Def/Res Smoke 3 for Pathfinder support or Panic Smoke 4 for Foe Penalty Doubler Support. Fatal Smoke 4 would also work pretty well for him in dealing with annoying miracle loopers.
@@Azure_Striker63 Lotta people lump Ranulf in with characters like Eyvel in the "why were these characters never demoted" group, but honestly he's VERY versatile as a character. His HP and Res are the only things that drag him down but aside from that, he's got a decent stat spread (even if the stats themselves aren't super high) and great support capabilities that help him stand out. I think he catches too much flak and I'm grateful his refine made him more appreciated.
@@TheChildofAuraReborn I mean, I keep getting him as an off-focus 5 star whenever I summon, so the demote thing isn’t a problem. It’s just that the Beast skills up until now weren’t that great, (like Beast NFU lmao), aside from Clash which now already has a Tier 5 version, Atk/Spd Wild and Beast Assault 4.

Heya comment section, Tacho, I'm very sad, can I get some F's for believing, for coping for Bridal Laegjarn to be here? 🐀💔 Lady Embla, the lonely bride to be, and I cannot wait to dive headfirst into colorless Hel just for her. Seasonless Severence is gonna be everywhere, so now rip to B!Soren users who like the Assign Decoy tactics. Wild was very much expected her A skill, but that B skill! Finally, non-Infantry beasts could get in on that DR piercing like the majority of Heroes can. And Absolute Enclousure, combining her B and C skill is just nice, though Severence again wouldn't have been the worst. Lapis, not Sakura like my work-tired brain thought, is honestly just a sleeper for me. I get it, galeforcers are gonna love her, but I have and always will be a EP tanker who does his best. Flow Guard 4 is kinda funny, but also has me potentially regretting merging my Thorr up, cause if she gets that as her remix skill, I just lose the best fodder for all my non-Wyvern Rift users. Nel, not Soren, is the out of pocket choice here, cause while I played the first chapter of the DLC of Engage, I haven't gotten far enough to know much else. But sure, demote, can never complain about those. Dragonblooms is an interesting sidegrade to the NY weapons, and I might try in on Nifl with Counter Roar since it's right there. Now to this Duo of Sharena and Veronica. Idk where IS is going with these two, but I can't complain, as Sharena has long been due something this amazing! I could into my wishes of it being her and sister, but I'm still happy with what we got. I'm really not too sure how to process Excel just yet, but if its something Laegjarn can stack with Rift and Devour, then I just might when the time comes. Potent coming back makes me feel bad for the all the people who made the hard and wrong decision to lose their emblem ring for that fodder, but at least that can get him back pretty soon. Forever Yours as their C skill is the sol reason I will sleep on Lapis, cause I would much rather use these two, and their canto shenangins. The length of each characters turns and the complexity of their skills made me so depressed. I wish there was a classic mode where they decreased the skills to basic levels and let the triangle and stats decide the fight... instead of freakin Yughio heart-of-the-cards type ish.
Yess finally they gave them the duo they deserve like Idk why but it's such a cute and wholesome relationship they got like Sharena cares so much for Vero and Vero appreciates her so much for it and cherish her words and they added into that with book 8 story
Sharena really wants to be a galeforce initiator... but then there's the healing, which wrecks that plan. I guess you can use her as a follow up unit, but there's not a huge need (or space in the teams) for amazeballs follow up units.
I was really hoping the silhouette was Bruno. With the other being Embla, I thought there was a chance, but of course it was all copium. To be fair there are a few characters with that hairstyle. Or at least that's what I'll tell myself.
Bro I am sooo pumped that Nel's in the game! She and Nil from the Engage DLC were some of my favorite characters by far and I never thought she'd make it considering how little people didn't enjoy the DLC. First real demote unit that I'm extremely excited for! But holy hell my bank statement for this month is going to be miserable. Also RIP to AR-D guys like me who actively try to make good defenses and then IS comes in with the steel chair to remind us that Emblem Ike was only the beginning lmao.

It's disturbing doe like c'mon Alfonse is an adult like 19 to 20 while Veronica is still a child/minor like 14 to 15 ish Kozaki did say she's a bit older than og so yeah plus Sharena is way better than Alfonse considering the age gap also haven't payed attention to the story they literally care about each other so much they have a strong bond Very talks more with Sharena than Alfonse. Don't mean to come as attacking but it's wrong to ship them
@giratinalight in all fairness, the age range for them isn't as bad. Please note that there's been a few others that have had larger ranges, I believe. (it's one of those things that would most likely happen it's just a matter of when if going by the storyline. Although they probably won't create an older pair just for a single Alt.) Also, it's all good as it didn't come across as attacking. I'm just saying it's that type of duo that feels like it would happen at some point because all 3 have gotten closer.

Okay, I stopped playing FEH years ago. I don't know why this popped up in my feed, but I was curious to see what's changed since I've been gone. Let me see if I understand Shareena's correctly:

Her a skill isn’t damaging her it’s giving her “flat damage reduction” of 12 points meaning that it just takes 12 points of damage off

Lapis only inflicts "share spoils" on the enemy she attacks, it's not nearly as useful as it seems. It does nothing if she kills
Its really strong in AR-O still. You no longer need to one round an enemy to maximize turn efficiency. It can lead to crazy set ups for Galeforce chains

I mean, they are not really expecting her to kill by giving her Escutcheon. She just needs to enter combat with a fairly tanky unit and she will not kill.

You should build units that are your favorite because it's common for power creep to make most units unviable in a few months. So it's good to just stick with the units you like the best.
Id probably summon on this banner if I was new just to build up my barracks a little.
Those units are all really good and have great base kits. I would say wait for this new Bride banner before summoning any more, the units here are pretty crazy

They didn't just because of Lapis but what the FUCK is this powercreep, I need a PHD to read these units
For skills "reduce damage by 80% if it's first combat initiated by unit OR first combat initiated by enemy" why does it make this distinction? Why doesn't it just say "sfor the first combat that turn"? Does it mean it can activate once in player phase and once in enemy phase?
Certain skills do specify that they are once per turn, like Guard Bearing for example. But a lot of units just have damage reduction on the enemies first attack.
For the ones that say "first combat" it is only once per turn. You can chalk up the lengthy description to them being terrible at wording lol
This banner is completely cracked. Duo Sharena and Embla are basically required. I am MIGHTILY tempted to go whole hog and whale to +10 Sharena, she’s that freakin cracked.

Isn't [Share Spoils] only applied to the unit that Lapis attacks? The AoE is just damage, it doesn't look like the effect spreads with the AoE.
It seems like the intended effect is just making sure that if she doesn't kill whoever she initiates on, whoever warps in after can finish off the kill for free. Most of the time Lapis is probably just going to be killing what she attacks in like 90%+ of scenarios, but this just pretty much guarantees that the first unit dies for free.
She wont always kill a Near save unit. I think the idea is to have her attack, shut down the enemies Pavise, get out of the way, and then let you warp in with somebody else. Kind of funny that they released this on the same banner as Embla though, but Embla does have an existing answer in King Freyr. There really isn't a way to protect yourself from Lapis.

I had the exactly same reaction to that Sharena unit, but I'm really happy to see Sharena as a unit again. I hope I can get a copy of her at least. After the fallen banner another must summon banner for me. I hoped to get a short time for saving my orbs for a eventually Níðhöggr unit, because the bridal banner was never interesting for me but this one is nuts.
An actual good bridal banner for once!? Well kit/gameplay design wise at least..but still impressive nevertheless. Let's see them keep this up next year.

Oh hey, more Atk/Spd Wild fodder! That’s good for me cause the only other Beast unit that has Atk/spd Wild is Nerthuz, and I want to give it to my Ranulf that I’m hoping to build. Hopefully, we get the Atk/Def and Def/Res versions too. Also, granting free Time’s Pluse 3 and 5 is pretty insane. I’m so glad they finally gave us a good B Beast skill for B! Embla, cause her Mythic Alt’s B Beast Skill was and still is trash. B!Embla’s art is so stunning.

As a Ranulf fan, it works great! I run my Ranulf with the Atk/Spd Wild, Atk/Spd Ruse 4, Atk/Def Menace (looking to get this one replaced with some Def/Res Smoke 3 fodder someday), Rally Atk/Def+, and Galeforce. He's both a support and offensive unit (but also thanks to his decent Def stat he's not TOO brittle) that I use in a beast team with Caineghis, but the Atk/Spd Wild skill is just a lifesaver with Galeforce. He can attack AND retreat back to support the other units. You won't regret it.
@@TheChildofAuraReborn Yeah, plus with his refined prf weapon, he can do some pretty good raw damage. I might make him purely offensive cause Beast Assault 3 is too good to pass up on, especially with nullifying half DR.
I might also give him Def/Res Smoke 3 for Pathfinder support or Panic Smoke 4 for Foe Penalty Doubler Support. Fatal Smoke 4 would also work pretty well for him in dealing with annoying miracle loopers.
@@Azure_Striker63 Lotta people lump Ranulf in with characters like Eyvel in the "why were these characters never demoted" group, but honestly he's VERY versatile as a character. His HP and Res are the only things that drag him down but aside from that, he's got a decent stat spread (even if the stats themselves aren't super high) and great support capabilities that help him stand out. I think he catches too much flak and I'm grateful his refine made him more appreciated.
@@TheChildofAuraReborn I mean, I keep getting him as an off-focus 5 star whenever I summon, so the demote thing isn’t a problem. It’s just that the Beast skills up until now weren’t that great, (like Beast NFU lmao), aside from Clash which now already has a Tier 5 version, Atk/Spd Wild and Beast Assault 4.
@@Azure_Striker63 Sadly most of that always seems to have something to do with the weird, unknown reason of why IS refuses to give us another Tellius beast banner. I think our last one was the Gallia beast banner, and we haven’t had a dedicated one since… which sucks because I REALLY wanna see base Muarim, Skrimir, and Ulki in the game.

Lady Embla, the lonely bride to be, and I cannot wait to dive headfirst into colorless Hel just for her. Seasonless Severence is gonna be everywhere, so now rip to B!Soren users who like the Assign Decoy tactics. Wild was very much expected her A skill, but that B skill! Finally, non-Infantry beasts could get in on that DR piercing like the majority of Heroes can. And Absolute Enclousure, combining her B and C skill is just nice, though Severence again wouldn't have been the worst.
Lapis, not Sakura like my work-tired brain thought, is honestly just a sleeper for me. I get it, galeforcers are gonna love her, but I have and always will be a EP tanker who does his best. Flow Guard 4 is kinda funny, but also has me potentially regretting merging my Thorr up, cause if she gets that as her remix skill, I just lose the best fodder for all my non-Wyvern Rift users.
Nel, not Soren, is the out of pocket choice here, cause while I played the first chapter of the DLC of Engage, I haven't gotten far enough to know much else. But sure, demote, can never complain about those. Dragonblooms is an interesting sidegrade to the NY weapons, and I might try in on Nifl with Counter Roar since it's right there.
Now to this Duo of Sharena and Veronica. Idk where IS is going with these two, but I can't complain, as Sharena has long been due something this amazing! I could into my wishes of it being her and sister, but I'm still happy with what we got. I'm really not too sure how to process Excel just yet, but if its something Laegjarn can stack with Rift and Devour, then I just might when the time comes. Potent coming back makes me feel bad for the all the people who made the hard and wrong decision to lose their emblem ring for that fodder, but at least that can get him back pretty soon. Forever Yours as their C skill is the sol reason I will sleep on Lapis, cause I would much rather use these two, and their canto shenangins.

The length of each characters turns and the complexity of their skills made me so depressed. I wish there was a classic mode where they decreased the skills to basic levels and let the triangle and stats decide the fight... instead of freakin Yughio heart-of-the-cards type ish.

Yess finally they gave them the duo they deserve like Idk why but it's such a cute and wholesome relationship they got like Sharena cares so much for Vero and Vero appreciates her so much for it and cherish her words and they added into that with book 8 story
Sharena really wants to be a galeforce initiator... but then there's the healing, which wrecks that plan. I guess you can use her as a follow up unit, but there's not a huge need (or space in the teams) for amazeballs follow up units.

It's disturbing doe like c'mon Alfonse is an adult like 19 to 20 while Veronica is still a child/minor like 14 to 15 ish Kozaki did say she's a bit older than og so yeah plus Sharena is way better than Alfonse considering the age gap also haven't payed attention to the story they literally care about each other so much they have a strong bond Very talks more with Sharena than Alfonse.

@giratinalight in all fairness, the age range for them isn't as bad. Please note that there's been a few others that have had larger ranges, I believe. (it's one of those things that would most likely happen it's just a matter of when if going by the storyline. Although they probably won't create an older pair just for a single Alt.) Also, it's all good as it didn't come across as attacking. I'm just saying it's that type of duo that feels like it would happen at some point because all 3 have gotten closer.
