I'm researching my area for a class project and decided to do my hometown of Elizabethton. I was thrilled to see this video pop up. You did a great job capturing the culture of this sweet little town. I have so many fond memories here 💜
I LOVE Elizabethton. Went college a few miles away. And Father Tim is wonderful too! A dear colleague and friend. Thanks for taking me back to a place I love and making me smile.
How cool! Father Tim is a great guy and if it wasn't for one of his friends, Mary, to suggest I talk to him, the introduction would have never of happened! I'm happy to hear it made you smile. That makes me feel pretty awesome 😊
@@ScottGerke I hope you were able to visit Fort Watagua. My family has spent some great time & walks there by the river. There is actually an outdoor play done in the fort in July about how the over mountain men mustered there during the revolutionary war. I was also engaged and married there. If you go back in the summer you'll have to go Tubing down the Watauga. We love our little town!
Awesome! We live in Hampton but our closest grocery store is Elizabethton so we go there often. That stretch of the Watauga River is beautiful and a great little kayak paddle.
I live minutes from there on the east side of Johnson City. Very nice town. We do the majority of our shopping there. I wish we could have bought a house there when we were looking. Nothing suitable available at the time.
"If there is a thing called Jesus" - A "thing?" Dear God. This guy's beliefs (and apparently his actions as well) are "an abomination" according to the Holy Bible. His position on homosexuality is not Biblically based at all. But then, the Bible warns us that in the last days man will call right wrong, and wrong right. "Father Tim" is the perfect example of this. I'm going to pray for him.
I was happy to have met his and what a kind soul he is. What do you mean frowned upon as much as these days? Do you think that it's less accepted these days?
@@ScottGerke McKayla said NOT frowned upon as much these days. Sorry to interject, and also nice to meet you I'm your comment section diplomat, apparently 🥰
Looks to me like he's got the love and support of many people and give it right back to them. I say he's doing right for himself and those around him ✌
Looks like a pretty true pastor to me. He shares love and belonging without casting judgement and serves his community, what seems to be, unconditionally ✌
@@michaelgraybeal6458 And I suppose you think this is a christ-like attitude? I mean you're probably right you know what a snob Jesus was. 🤔🙄🤦 Peace be with you brother. I sincerely mean that. You needed to have gotten yourself out of the way, instead of forcing your face into every scene. It’ a failed video, in that it was not about Elizabethton and residents. It was about you, unfortunately.
Ok, so how in the world do you properly pronounce Appalachia?!
Apple-atcha. Easy way to remember it in order to not get one thrown at you.

Blessed to call Elizabethton TN home.
My beautiful home town

Ha, that’s cool! Oh man, their biscuits and gravy is delish!
1st Corinthians 6:9-10 guess the “ father “ doesn’t go by that ….
Guess he doesn't believe the Bible. He's a wolf that the Bible warns to beware of!

Just curious. What do you mean by that exactly?
As I commented that I think I arrived at the part in the video you were referring to ironically enough.

Great video but I can tell you right now that false pastor does not represent God or the true churches, pastors and Christians in this area.

No he does not represent GOD'S WORD. He cannot teach Gods word and live in sin apparently he does not know the word of God
