I found another use for the forage pickup. I don't remember using it in 22 and now I wish I had. Field 8 on Riverbend was full of carrots. I decided to rent the big machine and forced it to overload onto the ground. Then went around and vacuumed up all the carrots. The actual harvesting was still slow, but I made quick work of picking up carrots, and didn't have to worry about carting for hours. Awesome video, thank you.

I don't get people getting angry about things. All you do is show what mods there are. It's not like you pressure anyone into doing it. Sure, in real life the farmer would be angry if you steal his grass though 🤣 What I am really waiting for is an autoload for bales and pallets. I so loved these mods on FS22. I really suck at handling wheel loaders, telehandlers and skidloaders. All I do is ram into things, losing my load, having stuff upside down and not able to pick it up anymore. No matter how careful, something always goes wrong. So guys, help a farmgirl out and bring on those autoload trailers, cars, etc! Thx for all the great stuff in this video!
When you customize your pasture, finish the fence JUST BEFORE THE CORNER and then do the last short bit. You have to "undo the last bit" and you won't get your money back, so a shorter bit at the end is less of a loss to fiddle with.
For the "purists" that say "you can't do this... you shouldn't do that!!" i'll say to them all... stop buying consoles. PC is the only way!! get off my lawn! and whichever side they drive on their local streets is wrong! 🤣great video!! love how thorough you are!

It's a bug in the upload I think. If you check the modhub description for the sheds, the intent is that the cheaper shed is WITHOUT the shelves, and is just the basic shed. The more expensive one is WITH the shelves, hence the added price. But the upload apparently got messed up, as both sheds have the shelves, and the names are backwards, as it lists the shed WITH shelves as being the cheaper version.
Just a heads up ,if you go to the balers you will find that base game balers don't have liftable bales ànd a other full set of balers that produce liftable bales Love the review
Hutan Pantai as an Asian map there is more contrast with darker shadows during sunny days as they are brighter. Noticed that when I was on holiday in China a couple of years ago ( before the pandemic). But it should show the equipment or whatever on the sunny side a lot brighter as now it is to dark. I usually turn down the contrast a bit to make it less pronounced.
The area restricted issue is killing me. I think that only happens with pasture and associated buildings. Built an epic sheep and cow farm. Went to modify paddocks as my requirements changed and cant put a new pasture or in fact anything in its place.
Each map will allow you a certain number of slots. Each vehicle, building, factory, etc that you purchase or place comes with a slot price, indicated by the rubix cube looking icon in the vehicle and construction menus. You’re limited to how much equipment and buildings you can place on your map by the slots you have available. It used to be an issue in earlier versions of the game, but today, outside of rare and exceptional instances, shouldn’t be, as slot allowances have increased.
It's worth noting that usually if you buy several of the same item, like a tractor for example, any after the first one usually only costs one slot. So if it's ever a problem try having multiples of the same things if possible. I've never run out of slots on any FS game so it's not a big deal usually.
When you make the change to the fence, you need to look close at the end and make sure there is not a pole at the end of the fence to finish it to the building. If there is a pole and you click it, you get that problem. The fence will auto goto the green pole with no other poles near it. Took me a long time to figure out this problem.
Several mods for it. Easiest one I'd get would be the Lumberjack mod. Mainly intended for trees, as is the name, but it also gives an easy hotkey to enable/disable magic strength to lift anything. I often end up using it when physics glitch out and flip my tractor to it's side because the back corner of my trailer clipped some tree branch or something. Or when a tree falls into another tree and gets welded there so hard a 600HP tractor with winch can't pull it out.
When placing custom pastures when you are coming to the end pont of the fence you should place it a little bit away from the end post and then do a small piece of fence to finish it off that has been working for me when it says area restricted. When you place a long bit of fence it doesn't like to snap to the end point
8:55 I tried to refuel my vehicles at that gas station for $1,000 couldn't find a trigger. I didn't have any liquid trailers on hand & I didn't feel like rentin' or buyin' 1 so I didn't test to see if it worked with them, but I'm gonna assume it does.

It would be awesome if someone could make trees/orchards (customizable like the animal fences) and mods for pecan and peach harvesting! I live in GA and all around my area is cotton, pecan orchards, peach orchards, and peanuts.
If you shallow cultivate your fields . Then plant potatoes. It will not leave the high rolls . It's flat . It says it's growing. I'm still farming on 22 . Finally got it, stop crashing .

@chrisjones6002 not my first rodeo my friend been playing since 15 on console with two maps and no mods.....of course I have placed the sign on my land skipped an hour skipped a month and no money is goin into my account......which I was only gonna do cuz of contracts that I did that wouldn't complete so I was tryin to pay myself for my time and work
@ 🙄 there was meant to be an update to fix the crashing and many other issues, that 1.3 did not even look at Regarding steering.. it’s only more realistic for the turn in of heavier vehicles not more realistic for lighter vehicles and the return to center is not realistic at all for any vehicle
@@UltraCasualPenguin Do you drive at all? Slow turning is NOT more realistic, The wheel getting harder to turn at slow speeds was common before power steering. The steering not returning to forward fast enough should only be determined by how fast you turn the wheel, it shouldn't turn slower just because you drive slower. 60 yrs of driving, I have driven most everything with wheels on it (not a plane though), so I don't know where you get the idea that turning is "more realistic" it is NOT.
Farm simulator twenty five is a terrible game. Giants should be ashamed of themselves for putting this kind of product out. It's really not that much better than farm. Simulator twenty two.
after playing the game for 67 hours ive given up with it and gone back to fs22 as thats what fs25 is a copy off ,really wish it was a disk so i could get my money back for this horendous and embarrasing game
If you want to cheat youself some free straw or whatever else, why not just just put down a government subsidy sign and use the money to buy some? If you find the forage pickup fun to use, more power to you, but it seems more like half the FS community just wants to cheat (which is fine, whatever, it's a sandbox game so who cares) and pretend they didn't? If you wanna cheat, own it. It isnt some big sin. Just don't make excuses to delude yourself and others.
Hey MRSEALYP, I've also found that since the supposed update, on ps5 if you take a plowing contract you can no longer use a subsoiler to plow, even though it says in the shop it can be used as a plow, you now have to use a plow plow, that does the ridges, how much more are giants gonna break this game 😡😡😡😡
I believe that's how it was in FS 22 as well - could not use subsoilers for plowing contracts. I stay away from the plowing contracts. The payoff is not worth it for the amount of time you have to commit to them.
Well all of you, before the update i could use the subsoiler, and the 6mt and 9mt is classed as a subsoiler not a plow, and on fs22 i could use them to plow contracts, and spacemanspliff yes i am having a hissy fit because none of you are complaining about the state of this game, and that is why giants are doing f-all about it, if you all loved the game as i do you would all be having a hissy fit to giants to make them do something about the abysmal condition they have released this game in........ But i guess you all just don't give a shit like i do about a game i loved........
You just need to give an admitted small team (giants) time to work the bugs out and create fixes... Doesn't happen overnight... The game is still considered new release... Its only been a couple of weeks 🤦... I pre-ordered for ps5 (for the extras) but still haven't even installed it yet bc I KNOW IT TAKES A SMALL TEAM TIME TO WORK OUT THE BUGS! SHEESH

Yep, I just wish there was an option to use it on a telehandler or wheel loader. It's still better than the base game options for logs.

You can use the combinations button to show headers that can be used with headers, if set by dev tho.

In the past item had to be under a certain weight to be liftable.
Eventually we got a console mod that made all items liftable.
without mods you can only pick up things that are 200kg or less. If something weighs more you won't see the hand to pick it up.

since the recent update patch, custom pastures doesn't work correctly all the time. No worries, I'm sure it will get sorted out.

Yes, some bugs. Most players barely notices any at all, I've only seen the occasional non game breaking ones myself.
