- RUSSIAN armoured tanks, missile launchers, military vehicles and hundreds of armed soldiers enter the Kyiv region as the Ukrainian capital bolsters defences.
Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky praised his own people's "heroic" resistance - as he bragged they had "broken" Russia's plan for a quick win.
He said that around 9,000 Russian soldiers had been killed since the invasion began eight days ago.

All well and good having a large army but when it comes to tactical combat zone the Russians are well off it. In terms of training they go through for troops on ground it’s actually shocking. Why you think all the training exercise videos are just of them standing in big fields firing tanks and shooting TOS-1’s? Any army can do that, that’s easy shooting from Afar and just taking down buildings. In terms of skill set in a tactical combat zone they are pretty poor. Most of the boys in the Russian army don’t want to be there, they are forced and when they do eventually come up against it they get smashed all over the gaff. Period. The Uk and the yanks have some of the most superior and longest training exercises in all different battlefields. The Russian artillery is so outdated and their technology is miles behind other countries.

@@taucalm that’s all people can say about them though, “they’re huge” , that’s the only thing that makes them powerful. In terms of being a skill full army they are shocking. So many tanks and trucks have been blown up the commanders are just letting them stroll in to Ukraine with no maps and they getting shredded by 29’s, 30’s and 32’s. When you stroll in on trucks and tanks it’s such a big target to aim at its very easy. They don’t want to come in on foot tactically because they not good enough. Anyone can shoot TOS1’s and cannons. They all so brave when they under protection in a vehicle but it only gets you so far, when your on the frontline and in battle where it’s just you and your gun then it’s a real test if you got heart or not. The Russians do very limited training on foot and when the going gets tough they do surrender.

I'm a little surprised we're not seeing a bigger variety of footage, considering everyone has a camera phone and a lot of soldiers have a go pro on their helmet. Such Ukrainian soldiers that we've seen seem to be militia, armed only with AK 47's. I haven't seen a mortar or machine gun yet. Still, it's not for our entertainment. Maybe the Ukrainian army don't want to give any clues as to where they are or what they're doing.

Lots of stuff being posted everywhere and new coverage only shows maybe 1 or 2 of them…and seemingly a good 10+ hours after the fact.
Ukraine military has asked for videos not to be posted so often though as Russians are adjusting their targets based on some of the videos uploaded, so there’s a delay on many of them up to 24 hours after the fact

What I still cant understand is why the Ukrainians have not attacked that 40 mile static convoy. I don't claim to be an expert but it seems to me a small number of soldiers with NLAWS could cause absolute carnage but they seem to be leaving them alone. Odd.

I'm from the US, and arrived in Ukraine, Kiev on the 23rd. I chose to go to UKR because I wanted to save my friends. We faced a lot of problems along the way, we saw some bombs going off in Kiev city (we were far away) and nearby, people desperately trying to get out of the country, intense firefights, civilian and military vehicles destroyed, military aircraft destroyed and on fire, some places abandoned and/or destroyed. We also saw some dead people, we helped some people who were injured, we took some with us. I was able to do these things because I had some contacts in the region and they helped me there. We cut several paths and arrived in Hungary on the 27th, and at the moment we are in Germany (my friends and I). The four people who came with us chose another path.
We're better. While we were traveling, we recorded some bizarre stuff that deserves to be shared with the world, I'll probably post it on YT. ---

@@markv3560 I don't think these particular weapons will stop the Russians completely, but will inflict heavy casualties and poor moral among the Russian forces. Not only that, the Ukrainians are not going to stop fighting EVER! Nothing is worse than fight against a enemy with a cause. The Ukrainians have every reason and right in the world to fight. They fight for freedom, family, and country. Russia will lose this fight simply because they have to hold the ground they take, they don't have the resources or logistics. The Ukrainians also have Home Field Advantage!
