The west has been keeping to push its weapon further to russias border for the last 25 years. Russia has been warning all these times not to do that. In the meanwhile the US has been invading half the middle east while evidence shows they created the Taliban and ISIS in order to overthrow the state just for them to turn hostile instead and instigating a civil war.
The whole Iraq invasion was based on a lie and to this day Bush is seen as a high status man instead of being locked up in a cell with no key for it.
There were no sanctions and the NATO and the UN did nothing or even helped.
The same as it is with the Israel/Palestinian War, theres a genocide yet even saying anything remotely bad about Israel will deem you as either a terrorist, a nazi or an anti semitist.
Yet in this case just like in the movies the Russian are doing what the US has been doing for almost all its existence and it is instantly the evil guy.
What Russia is doing to the Ukraine right now is absolutely horrible and i hope that there will be peace as soon and Russia will own up to the damages they caused, yet I hope if there is peace the west will finally stop trying to push Russia, if Russia, China and the middle East would ever work out an alliance World War 3 would just become a "when" instead of an "could".

Honestly I think the option to encourage insurrection in Russia should be on the table. For example, Biden could say sanctions will be removed on the condition that Russia withdraws from Ukraine and replaces Putin. And that kind of 'replacement' would likely be another Russian oligarch having him killed. Then Putin might actually have something to lose and cooperate.

Why were they fighting? Did one just up and decide to take over. If so, then I only imagine these other leaders with more fire power and army is watching closely and thinking, hmm, I could do the same thing if I wanted.
Neighboring countries are being protected by America and other countries military’s. Russias gonna regret if any collateral damage spreads to the bordering areas

@@blessethishe Like with all wars the story behind it is complicated but it boils down to Russia not being happy of losing control over Ukraine which Russia perceives as an important part of the geopolitical sphere of influence, sort of a buffer between the western world and them. Ukraine is a sovereign European country which gained its independence in 1991 after the collapse of the Soviet Union and and has since slowly improved and expanded its relations to the west. Russia on the other hand has repeatedly tried to wrestle control over Ukraine ever since its independence. Russia has helped to rig presidential elections, bribed the oligarch elite, poisoned opposition and invaded parts of the country by force as we see now and as we have seen ever since the annexation of Crimea in 2014. With the change in political and social landscape in Ukraine especially since Euromaidan protests Ukrainian people have grown increasingly less willing to accept Russia's control over them. Meanwhile Russia's methods have gotten more aggressive at every step Ukraine has tried to get closer with Europe or NATO. Russia has faced absolutely no aggression from Ukraine and frankly that would be a suicidal move. It's a case where a larger country acts as a bully and subordinates the weaker one simply because they can.
Right now Russia is out of luck with its peaceful measures yet its obsession over Ukraine persists. This culminated to the invasion of Ukraine. The attack was officially justified by an absurd set of lies (peace-keeping operation to stop genocide, de-nazification of Ukraine and a long list of similar claims for the last 8 years), a theatrical "discussion" in Kreml over the independence of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and a set of pre-recorded angry speeches Putin. In other words, there is no justification of any kind why almost the entire world has denounced Russia's aggression and supports Ukraine. Putin's rule in Russia is becoming more absolute, unpredictable and aggressive which is another reason why this event is important news worldwide.
Putin wishes to overthrow the government in Ukraine but I think the entire world wishes the same thing happening in Russia, ending Putin's dictatorship and bringing stability to the region and the world.

Realistically Ukraine is no match for the RU army. Basically right now it's trading blood for time. I feel terrible for the people of Ukraine and the soldiers who have to leave their families behind and may never see them again.
They knew this invasion was possible for the last 8 years and they've had hundreds of millions of dollars in military funding and training, they have no anti missle system ? These masses of helicopters should have dozens of ground to air missles fired at them. I just don't understand why they weren't more prepared, 1 day and tanks are rolling into the capital
