omg chika inspired me to dress in a way i feel confident in and not how people expect me to dress… being feeling in a rut recently but chika’s style and perspective is a breath of fresh air!!!
Chika's outfit was a standout - unexpected but right on point. Never would have thought to put that together which is why it's the coolest.
Leah deserves more beauty points la. I mean can we all take a moment to appreciate the woman from her hair down to her tats on her leg, she really carries herself like non other.

Normally I would compliment Mandon, but some of his comments were a bit harsh, particularly with Chika's outfit. Chika's outfit is actually very nice. John's comments are very constructive.
Also, is it me or does the front (main) camera has a hazy tone? Or was that intentional? coz the side camera is clear.
@@John_Smith_86 the point is not about it being proper or improper. If it's about properness, then half of them are probably not considered "proper" for CNY. The point was Mandon made some comments that aren't so nice.
he implied chika barely put any thought and effort into her outfit, and said that chow reused that dress a lot lmao, those comments coming from a dude that just wears all black every day and never switches anything up
The color on sanggee is lovely. I agree pockets will improve that dress 100% better

Amanda’s mindset is so like me lehh. Except for me, it’s hari raya. For the past 4 years I didn’t buy baju kurung/jubah/etc anymore, i only bought long skirt and blouse only so that i can also wear tht outfit on different occasion.
sameee. i feel bad for supposedly going against tradition but also don’t feel the need to buy clothes for the sake of ushering good luck into the new year.
Great selection of the guys tho, clearly have different tastes, so it's good inside to how different guys think. And also, how different guys with EQ & no EQ talk..
Kudos to the girls for their responses (and how you worded this @Lala La)! I think they veered it very well to their favor. Loved each ensemble, their thought & personality really showed- more than just 'pieces of clothing'. Some comments made were pretty distasteful though!

First of all, Great video! I love the idea and the way it is shot, I’m quite sad that this is the first video of its kind on this channel :( I hope this comment can be supported and backed by more people but I would love it if the girls or guys (for future videos) were behind blinds and have their faces covered and the outfit components like the shoes, bottoms and tops were displayed slowly. Similar to the look gating channel on TH-cam!! :)

I think if Jia Hui slings Sangee's yellow bag over her shoulders and swops shoes with Sangee, she'd give off a totally different vibe. Not to mention a different look. I'd give her the AAA angpao....lol!
Sangee's cheongsam really should have hidden pockets at the side. And maybe a tighter skirt instead of flared? Flared gives off a girly vibe, whereas a tighter skirt makes the wearer seem more mature and womanly.
I don't know why everybody placed Amanda last. I'd have put her outfit second behind Jia Hui's, and ahead of Sangee's in my books.
