I am a catholic but i have a great reverence for the orthodox coptic church and Fr Lazarus. He is a living saint. May God protects all Christians in Egypt and the world during these turbulent times.

I’m from Armenian Church and thinking of going on pilgrimage to St. Anthony’s monastery later this year… Is Fr. Lazarus open to meet and spend time with pilgrims?
Just like biblical and historical evidence proves that jesus and his apostles were vegatarians biblical and historical evidence also proves that the trinity, atonement, original sin and hell are very late misinterpretations and are not supported by the early creed hence its not a part of Christianity I pray that Allah swt revives Christianity both inside and out preserves and protects it and makes its massage be witnessed by all people but at the right moment, place and time

I'm troubled that I will never be loved by God as St. Antony is, and Fr. Lazarus. I'm going to Egypt, to meet father Lazarus. A man I greatly revere. As he brought me back to Orthodoxy and Christianity in general. I want to find holiness, but I doubt I will ever, be a monk.
You can join a third order if you can’t be a full monk. Or you can just practice prayers and holiness and be a monk in your heart to God. God will honor your efforts. Just start.
Tankster I have done the prayer rule of Russian monks from a long time ago. I prayed the Jesus prayer with ceasing for five years. Every vacation but one has been to monasteries. I have served in the altar. And now, through the Copts, if the mother of god and Christ will be with me, perhaps, god willing, I will become in touch with father Lazarus. And yes, this is possible, as it has become so; through a very kind Coptic man.

when people tried to worship the disciples after jesus was resurected and they went about performing miracles they would not allow people to worship them likewise we cannot worship saints or the like we must only worship God and Jesus also our life is not to be lived in solitude whenever possible we must share the gospel and follow in the footsteps of Jesus , healing , and doing good works.
