Saw Queen live in Frejus Arena on 30th of July 1986, got even 2 autographs of him and Roger Taylor in a picture that i still have, I met him the next day going out with his Limousine from Nice and talked to him. very very very lucky
Seeing Queen in Chicago on Halloween. Concert of a lifetime. Freddie and Queen are always #1 in my heart. I’m sitting next to the B stage and my heart will probably explode!!
Sammy, you are more than the 'Red Rocker', you are a super star as compared any other performer in that industry. Please don't stop making music. I love your work Sammy!
Mr Sammy Hagar! You are a legend among legends!! Ever since the day I heard "Three Lock Box" when I was a kid I have enjoyed your work, your attitude..... you name it!! When ever I listen to VOA (the entire CD/Album) it brings me back to great times and memories! I mean that!! Keep on rocking!!
Brian is one of those legends of rock, I have grown up listening to his magical guitar playing and he is who makes me so proud to be British. Sammy is what America is built on, a true American man who epitomizes what you can achieve by just being yourself.
I'll never forget the audio thrill of seeing Joe, Brian, and Sammy along with Paul Schaefer and others perform at the Schermerhorn Symphony Hall in Nashville and Brian played Solo instrumental of The Show Must Go On. Blown away
Legends... all of you!! And great wisdom from Joe. I'm a 61 yr old guitarist and singer, and four years sober. Never did drugs, but I loved alcohol, until I DIDN'T. It's just more trouble than it's worth. As Joe said, there IS life after addiction, and life is good!
If you know anything about Brian May then you know that he's a beautiful man and amazing guitarist. But Joe Walsh was a bit crazy in his early days when with James Gang. He mellowed once he went on the be part of the Eagles. One of my fav bands. They always had that California early rock vibe and Joe being an amazing guitarist as well. Much respect to them both AND certainly to Sammy as well. I wonder what guitarist can even come close in another decade when ALL the early greats in Rock N'Roll are gone. Gotta make this last decade full of their concerts while these greats are still alive. Wish there were Cream Magazine & other Rock magazines still in business. Glad Rolling Stone is STILL around. Kids were HEAVY into Rock N'Roll in the USA the late 60s, 70s & 80s. Pure Rock N'Roll..❤❤❤
I traveled west on my new Honda, to see my cousin who had moved from Germany, to Wichita, Ks. and stopped to ask directions from an elderly woman. Putting my helmet back on, I noticed a small sign that read,. Joe Walsh born here Nov. 20th 1947. I was like, maybe this town ain't so bad? lol! 1985 was a great year.
Favorite classic Rock bands that debuted before 1980 1. Rush (1974) 2. Rolling Stones (1964) 3. Van Halen (1978) 4. Velvet Underground (1967) 5. The Who (1965) 6. Triumph (1976) 7. Queen (1973) 8. Heart (1975) 9. Deep Purple (1968) 10. The Kinks (1964) *Special mention (solo artist/ non band) David Bowie
Love the Elvis/James Burton pic on the wall! NICE! PS: Saw Queen in Vancouver in the early 80's and saw Sammy, also in Vancouver, in 1978 when he backed-up Boston. 😎
Joe's words are wise beyond his years, most guys don't get that smart until they are 250 or 275. Imagine if we had lost him to some stupid crap like a car wreck or such. God Bless the Rockers with kind Hearts who got a 2nd chance. Thanks Lord for lending them to us.
I Love Joe Walsh……..❤ In all of his interviews he is so point on: A lyrical genius I could listen to his wise mentally all day. Still goofy at times, but I love the way he rolls on in life…Carry on Mr. Walsh.
Call up Travelin’ Man by Ricky Nelson…and listen to James’s guitar solo bit on it. This one guitar part caught the ears of all the British guitar greats back in ‘59 when it was released. If I may…Joe Osborn…one of if not my favorite bassist is on this too.
Hey, Mr. Brian May and Mr. Sammy Hagar!, ☺️,my friends...! When I saw y'all, I, immediately, thought of the scene of 'Sophia',(The Color Purple), @ the dinner table,(toward the end of the movie), when Celie confronted, and almost stuck!, Albert. Sofia said; " Don't do it..., it ain't worth it... I damn-near rot to death in that prison... When I saw your faces/[faces]..., I know'd their was a 'God' in 'Heaven'... "Thank You!", my friends... Your loyal friend and admirer... Respectfully, Woody.
Sammy, Sammy, Sammy. oh so cool. The Brian May bit. Hey, I thought Tanya Tucker is older than me. Damn, I haven't looked in the mirror lately. That fine lady is 10 weeks younger than me. LOL. But Joe Walsh. Whoa. "If you're working for it and it ain't workin for you no more....too bad Nancy Reagan didn't come up w/that. That is spot on! We've lost a lot of friends but it is so good to see you old rockers rockin' on. God bless ya. Remember how stoned Joe was? Life's been good to me so far......Amen.
Wow--a Floyd Cramer reference from Paul Schaeffer, being interviewed by Sammy Hagar. I feel like i've fallen into a music history blender headfirst. (i like it)
When Paul Schaffer was being talked to by Sammy in front of his & James Burton's dressing room Jeff "Skunk" Baxter comes walking out; and then British country king/guitarist Albert Lee came strolling out of the door.
Hi Sam, I’m a big fan of yours yeah there is one time when they had four beers. It was a long time ago back in June. Yeah, beer has alcohol wine has alcohol yup soda, and coffee have caffeine. That’s also a drug. And sugar. That’s the drug too. You see I’m smart. I didn’t know that stuff back then like like I do know now you was the best thing to do is to keep on rocking and rolling 👍
Please forgive me Joe if this isn't a pleasant memory for you, but I remember when you would come on 95.5 in LA. . . . . . . . . . . . A little tipsy. I remember a time in particular, oh I'd say in 89 or 90 when you debuted, "The Confessor." You cannot tell a lie!
Elvis has been dead almost 50yrs and i get the feeling he isnt in peoples mind like he used to be. Its a different world now. He will never be forgotten but 50yrs dead is along time
Never smoke weed with Willie again. I turned it down the first time he handed me a joint. I was working and I do not partake in anything that can impair you at work.
Joe Walsh "underrated". Hahahahahahahahahaha. You know what? "Underrated" is the most overrated word in the youtube comment section used by amateurs not knowing anything about the music business. Ask Townshend, Lukather, Clapton about Joe. They all know how good he is
Awesome to see Paul Shaffer, He made David Letterman. Dave you owe him for everything, you'd be as homeless as you look today if it weren't for Paul carrying you.
Wow can’t believe you had Joe Walsh on and didn’t get a copyright strike… I only know one song by his band cos TH-cam takes down all their vids I guess they can’t be that good anymore cos nobody our age knows who they are Great job copyright police lol

Brian May talking about Rory Gallagher gives me chills.
Freddie was just ONE OF A KIND. He just created things in the studio and live that have never been duplicated.❤
Sammy, you are more than the 'Red Rocker', you are a super star as compared any other performer in that industry. Please don't stop making music.
I love your work Sammy!
You can listen to Sammy for an hour with Bill Maher recent get together. Pretty funny stuff yet interesting listening to Sammy.
@@GOLDENFLYWARRIOR Will do, thanks for the tip.

LOVE BRIAN MAY!!!!!!!!!!!! What a really great guy. Huge like.
Keep these videos coming Sammy they are so important for posterity!!
I saw Rory Gallagher in a small hall at Aberystwyth University in 1982. He was magnificent. A privilege. How time flies...

Hey Joe and Sammy. Love from England. You guys rule . Sending you much love❤❤❤❤
Both those guys look great for their age and the wear and tear..
Love the Elvis/James Burton pic on the wall! NICE! PS: Saw Queen in Vancouver in the early 80's and saw Sammy, also in Vancouver, in 1978 when he backed-up Boston. 😎
The fans love the 70's thru 90's rock and we want it to stay valid so we can enjoy it.
What an awesome interview. Brian is looking so good, but he is so handsome.❤
Pretty humble of Brian when Sammy was saying “even though you are a singer as well”, and Brian subtly says “yeah but not like you are.”
Also Joe Walsh did a Video on Guitar maintenance and checking intonation. It was Brilliant and simple. Changed my sound. Oh good job Sammy
I love this ! If the next generation enjoys and listens ! Queen - Brian May! #1
So good to see Paul Schaeffer! He never changes
100%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was great. Loads of wisdom in this video. Respect To All.

And he was preaching to the red rockin tequila magnate
Thank WISDOM to seek the light in life cause life is short even without creating ones demons.
I Love Joe Walsh……..❤ In all of his interviews he is so point on: A lyrical genius I could listen to his wise mentally all day.
Still goofy at times, but I love the way he rolls on in life…Carry on Mr. Walsh.
Awsome photo from the King at the back from brian may
Bryan May and Sammy together would be a dream come true. Likewise, Ted Nugent and Sammy, Billy Gibbons or Sammy would be good, too.
Call up Travelin’ Man by Ricky Nelson…and listen to James’s guitar solo bit on it. This one guitar part caught the ears of all the British guitar greats back in ‘59 when it was released. If I may…Joe Osborn…one of if not my favorite bassist is on this too.
Have to love a astrophysicist iconic guitar player.
Damn, I was waiting for the jam at the end!
Go Joe! We all are sure glad you're, still with us!!
I really admire Brian.

Words of true wisdom from Joe 🎉
Amazing experience enjoy
Man, was that Skunk Baxter who walked out of the dressing room behind Paul Shaffer and Sammy at the beginning of that segment?
Yep, and the white haired dude that came out later was Albert Lee, A true legend. Skunk is one of my favorites.🕊💖🎸
@@jimipalmer5041 I figured it was probably a guitarist I had heard of, but I didn't recognize him by sight...
I'm a Queen-Ager so I have bragging Rights 😢I saw Queen three times all with Freddie 💛 magical you don't listen to Queen you FEEL them 🎉
No. I listen and they are excellent. Sheer Heart Attack, Jazz Innuendo NOTW i like them all !
Tanya Tucker has a smokers voice. I love the song "Blood Red and Going Down"

Joe is a cool and good guy!👏
Guitarist Skunk Baxter, Steely Dan & Doobie Brothers, @5:00 walking out the door behind Sammy And Paul Schaffer.
I met Skunk Baxter at NAAM Show (Nashville) in 2005.
Kinda interesting how my comment about Joe going on 95.5 a little tipsy & debuting, "The Confessor" ended up somewhere below. Ha!

Wise words about addiction from Joe there. Sadly nobody and i mean NOBODY understands that in their 20s.
Hi Sam, I’m a big fan of yours
Lol...rock starrs just chillin, Skunk Baxter strolls out, no big deal , people just shootin the shit...its great.
Life’s been good to me so far…

I still wish John Deacon was able to join them and make it as complete as it could be.
Uh Sammy, It's Sir Brian!

Too bad Sammy didn't stop to talk to Albert Lee when he came out of the dressing room. It could have been epic! (Yeah, I'm a huge fan).
How ya doin is still with us
Oh wait, in my opinion Joe Walsh is undoubtedly one of the most underrated guitar players, of all time! If Clapton was God?! Phew!
Joe Walsh "underrated". Hahahahahahahahahaha. You know what? "Underrated" is the most overrated word in the youtube comment section used by amateurs not knowing anything about the music business. Ask Townshend, Lukather, Clapton about Joe. They all know how good he is
Yeah man, & then you spoke? I meant the general public. I'm certain the most overrated guitarist, knows how good Joe Walsh is.
Players like Joe Walsh, Mike Campbell. They are underrated, comparatively speaking.
Joe Walsh is 1,000,000% correct about addiction.
Joe Walsh!
Was that Joe Walsh or Steven Adler ?😮😊🎉
come on man it's Dr. May
tanya and sammy look the same
I love joe Walsh but he reminds me of my grandma's actions
👏👏👏👏👏👏💯💯💯💯
So that was 4 years ago. I know there is no "look" for an age, but Hager does not look 71 there....and as of 2023 he looks the same. Damn.
Awesome to see Paul Shaffer, He made David Letterman. Dave you owe him for everything, you'd be as homeless as you look today if it weren't for Paul carrying you.
✌ 206 SEATTLE
In Freddy's final days, he asked to be left alone. he didn't want anyone to be around him.
Sammy's the best Arab American in the business
He's on video record saying he has no Arab background.
why is Tanya yellow???...get her a make up person now!!! Love Tanya all my life.
Dos Grosos!
I hope you retrieved your email that got hacked Brian! Cheer's 😮😊...
Oh, I thought you had your grandma on.
Without Freddie there would have been nothing going on .

Last time I saw Joe, he said "if I was your president, we wouldn't have all these problems. We'd have different problems!" Joe, we need you now!
I swear that's Isaac Newton.
Nobody like Sammy to do an interview.
