- Getting from Chiang Mai to Pai, Thailand. Mini buses run several times a day between Chiang Mai and Pai. The 3 hour bus ride will cost you 150-200 baht per person ($4.50-6.00). The road to Pai is all hills and curves, if you're prone to getting motion sickness, you may want to skip the mini bus and fly instead. Or if you're up for an adventure, rent a motorbike in Chiang Mai for around 700-800 baht a day and take on those hills and curves in the open air. Thanks for watching! xoxo Christine

When I was in Chiang Mai about 5 years ago I met a lovely woman from Kona, Hawaii who was getting dental work done there too! She told me that it's quite a popular place to go for Hawaiian residents - glad you two got to take advantage of the awesome medical system in Thailand! Thanks for taking me on your journey! It's nice revisiting places through you and Michael :) XO

Hi Christine, I have only been to Hong Kong (where my gf lives) I loved it!! Keep the vid's coming as this is my trip to Thailand as well, hahah. Love from Vancouver, Canada xo
Lots of people come to Asia for dental work. Dentists here are just as qualified! Love your travel videos Christine. You guys are awesome!
I soo look forward to your vlogs! Love them :)
you guys make traveling to other countries so easy. i would be terrified to do this!
Thanks for sharing again! Hope your dental work went as planned. I know a lot of people that go to SE Asia for dental work. Having lived in the Philippines, I know that medical treatments are popular, as well. I received excellent treatment there for a heart condition! Looking forward to your next post!
Thanks for taking us along. I love the videos! That area is NOT my cup of tea, but It's so interesting! STAY SAFE
I'm also curious about the dental work. In the last 2 years I've had 3 crowns and 3 fillings, and I need a root canal under one of the crowns...big bucks!! ...enjoying the scenery!!
Still admiring your courage. WAY to rustic for me...my husband says my idea of camping or roughing it is the Marriot. The snake would have done me in. Hate those worse than anything else in this world, would rather meet a bear. I am just loving your vlogs, especially since I will never travel there myself. My 18 year old daughter is loving them also! Have fun, stay safe and stay away from the snakes!
Love these!!
Would you consider doing a Q & A regarding your trip to Asia? I have a couple: What made you select this particular trip? Do you have certain places on your itinerary? What are some things you wished you had packed?
Noticed you're driving the left side of the road. Thanks for the upload and stay safe.
Thanks for sharing parts of the world so many of us will never get to see...I
This is such a cool adventure!! Xoxo
Thanks for sharing, stay safe.
I am enjoying our vacation! keep the videos coming on our side of the world. So Amazing. what you are dong.
Chiang mai is wonderful I ve lived here ten years !
So much fun!!!
Hi Christine, I'm loving all the videos....I would have never seen and known about these places had you taken us with you! Thank you again.....
I was curious (like everyone else)....now that you're dental work is done, how are you both healing up? was it what you expected? what did you have done?
Hope you have fun keep safe and the food looks all so good. ;3
Love it!!!! thank you
i am 31too so i know dental work can b extensive and expensive when u have to have a lot..i am so curious as i said bc i am in process of getting lots done..so glad i found u..i relate to u somuch and u inspire me:)!
loving the vlogs!! ty christine...
I agree, I would like to know if you had a general idea of how much you would be spending per day before you left. Did you take enough padding for a potential emergency? I am finding your vlogs very interesting. I had never had any interest in SE Asia until watching your videos. One more thing, could you tell us what the high temperature is each day?
Thanks for sharing your adventure with us :) I
Nice Trip, next time i also want to travel to Pai :-)
I get so hungry watching these vlogs :D
pai is super cold at night.
make sure u got extra jacket. i frozen my ass off when i was there last time. it's in the mountain. keep ur hoodie and leeging around.
Lots of people go to Asia to get dental work done especially if you work independently and don't have insurance. The dentists are just as qualified in fact many Asian dentists come to North America to work. It is a lot cheaper especially for fillings and simple work like that that can cost over 300 dollars in North America
Feels like I'm on vacation myself :)
Hello! I would also be interested in hearing about the dental work you two got done there, experience, how it compares to the USA etc..
It looks like a pretty cheap and fun trip!
Amazing!
We have a friend who went to Thailand for some pretty major dental and said it was excellent, top of the line equipment and spa type atmosphere. Plus it was less than half the price w/o insurance. What did you guys do as far as preventing Malaria? I just thought of it since you mentioned mosquitos and screens. Is there a possibility of getting it where you are?
i enjoy these vlogs:)
Have a great trip :)
I've only heard of Americans going to Mexico for dental work. I'd be interested to hear what you had done and how the experience was. I grew up in Hawaii so I know the expense, especially without insurance for dental would be huge.
Mmm those desserts!!!
I just love your travel vlogs!!!! Would you say there are a lot of vegan options at the vegetarian restaurants you've been to? My husband and I would like to travel there but we are always weary that we may go hungry for lack of vegan options. Thanks :D
How do you choose where to stay? How do you find these little gems, I would really like to know!
5:37, looks like your hair took a beating from the heat. I'm sure a lot of us feel you on that!
Loving your videos. Just booked our tickets for Thailand today (we go next month) and as a vegan I am so glad you highlighted your meals in these videos. I do the same when I travel (Earth Enthusiast is my channel) so hopefully you can find my videos equally helpful. Thanks, and keep it up!
love your vlogs:)
great video
it seems so cute and quiet in Pai! have a lovely time :)
Wow what a cool adventure! Xo Carol
I also want to see how much they charge for dental work and your experience, I have to say looks like the places you have stayed in are beautiful:)
I love these vlogs, but have to admit they make me jealous also lol
Dental work while you were gone....Scary How does insurance or such work over there. Is it expensive? How was the experience?
I might have missed it, but why are you guys over there? For fun and adventure?!?
A friend of mine went to the Philippines to have a breast biopsy done. She went to Cebu. American medical help is so expensive. Even with insurance I try to take care of most things at home.
thank you taking us with you§§§§
the weather there is just about the same as in Slovenia right now :D :D :D
