What an absolute bets of a road car. Yeah it’s “track focused”, but if you’ve ever driven one of these ZL1 LE cars on ordinary roads, you would never know this comfortable and compliant road car was such a serious killer on the track right out of the box like this. Just completely raw experience for sure. Awesome. 👍🏻😎👍🏻
LOVE this video. Keep coming back to watch again. Thought it was on an official 'Chevrolet' page before. Maybe they removed it. LOVE the sound, view stats, etc. It seemed to catch a little 'air' at @5:53. Also needed longer straight away at the end. Only at 5500 RPM at 173mph. Still had 1500 RPM's before redline. LOL! Just joking, of course. Truly impressed it still accelerated in 6th gear, as wind resistance often can hinder acceleration in the highest gear. AMAZING car.

Anyone else come here because the Cafe mission in Gran Turismo referenced this event?
Flat out crazy as hell!
Nearly 9000 views and only 165 likes?. Looks like some didn't think or like that an American track focused car could do it.
That's really not a bad ratio. The vast majority of views don't interact at all. Plus rewatches.
A 1000 of those are me😂
The original had over a million but isn't public anymore for some reason
@@Harmonic14feel like it’s because the car isn’t in production anymore
honestly that gave me chill bumps!! Love the 1LE!
Them ZL1s are such a pleasure to drive. A great experience.
Wow!!! Respect to Mister Man and Chevy!!!
Bill Wise.
There are faster runs of Nurburgring, but few I enjoy watching as much as this one. DAMN!!!
Really like that they used a manual car and not the 10 speed automatic.❤ my car is a 6 speed manual.
The 10 speed ZL1 1LE wasnt out when they released this otherwise they would have used it.
@@DanteGonxhjaMany have ran the auto on this track in the years since this was done. None have come close to this manual transmission run. 🤷♂️

AMAZING car.
I think they removed it, cause their vette isn't quicker..😬😆
Notice he held it 167 till the little down drop bumped him to 173...
Couple spots that stuck with me... Did basically a wide 180 at a 120🤣 then the dogleg at 155😮😲😵
Love it
Chevy el más poderoso del mundo
Love This Video! Also check out the Z28 at this track! Two Amazing Camaros.
He should have left the car in 5th on the final straight if he wanted a few more seconds out of it. But that is such an amazing lap.
170.....
