    Such a massive difference when using magnum after the shader. More efficient while packing those squares. Great lesson.

    I was apprenticing for quite some time and never quite picked up mag work. It always felt pretty difficult. But this video really helped. I've been thinking about picking it back up and self teaching. Just for fun

    Finally was able to get to the mags today. Wow, especially the 15CM, its a bests. That was really a lot of fun. Can't wait to move on to whip shading tomorrow!

    How far is needle out ?

      I would start about a dime width out. Then go from there. Hope this helps.

    Hi i had one of those aha moments today while i was doing lesson 28 could definitely well see why you started us up with round shaders ds i thought mags are significantly easier to work with so am excited about what comes in the next videos

    I’ll have to get some larger mag needles. I try to look for bulk packages because they have a lot of sized needles and I’m just using them for practice. Only problem is they typically only go up to size 11. Thanks for another great lesson brother!

      Travis look on Jungletattoosupplies.co.uk. if you can't get them from there check out Amazon stigma mags. They go up pretty big in size.

      If you mean what volts is he running his machine at, Ben never answers this question. Since everyone will run their machine to match their own hand speed its simply not a question Ben has ever answered.

      @@konesernieleser1553 you have to find your own voltage. Start at a low voltage, run a line at the correct depth at a comfortable speed. If it looks weak and not solid. Up the voltage by one. Until you get a nice crisp solid line. That will be your lining speed. Hope this helps

    For colour packing with a mag, should the needle depth change (compared to outlined with a round liner)?

      Needle depth should not change. You need to go into the dermis layer. Your hang can vary. But its what you feel comfortable with. You can message Ben on messenger at Ben Fisher Ink Rush page.

    I have a halo 2 rotary, and I've come across open mag disposable tubes, ate you familiar with the open featured tubes? How do I control the needle n keeping from bouncing out of the tube?

    Ben do you advice a beginner to start with a coil machine or a rotary machine?

      If I was back at the beginning I would go for a rotary..... just plug in a go. No messing. No tuning. Just a nice running machine every time

    hey Ben! Can you tell me how you get the ink easy off the fake skin? :) i have a bit of a problem with getting it clean :/

      If your using reelskin it will be much easier then cheap mats. Multipurpose cleaning wipes will help as you go along. When your done you can rub in a good amount of vaseline or ointment (really really hard) and then work it in and wipe away with a good amount of force as well. If its a stuck on stencil soak it in bleach for several hours.

    hi there! I am using the dynamic black ink and I am having a hard time packing black. do you use the pure ink or do you dilute it a little bit? I would take probably 4 times longer to pack this square.
