Great trick getting the pistons out, in the 30 years I've been in the trade ive never seen that but its brilliant 👏

Wow really, to be fair I only came across that technique recently too. Certainly made my life easier ☺😂

Good tip on removing stubborn brake pistons, I've had my own struggles with the bar stewards, nice one Del 👍, poor old Del gets his share of haters but he does tend to bring it on himself at times,I think that you did the best thing that you could do by removing the paint and leaving a nice smooth and clean surface, the smoother the better IMO

Thanks mate 😃 they can be very stubborn right. I should invest in a proper removal tool really to avoid such techniques. I guess its the nature of TH-cam, people love ripping into tubers for dodgy practices 😂 and thanks mate, I just hope the calipers don't rust to bits. I'll be keeping a close eye on them thats for sure! 😉👍

I use brake fluid to lubricate the seals before fitting. A very light coat does the trick and then there's no contamination issues.

Yes mate, I've done the same. Both wok well provided you don't use to much red rubber grease 😃👍
