That whole drum part once the breakdown happens in the last 1/3rd of the song is fucking mindblowing. Lost it at 2:58 with that breakdown. What a band.
Dude every time someone comments on this video I rewatch this performance like 5 times. That pinch is def sick as fuck but the whole thing was just indescribably awesome
@@cdsackett yeah that pinch is so clean... watched it like 10x to see wha fret and string he’s hitting so I can try to replicate it 🤣 I can’t wait till shows are back so I can see Sleep Token.
@@chrisstrohman4131 it appears to be 3rd on the d but that's a BITCH to pull off. I noticed in other performances on TH-cam he doesn't do it. I think he was feelin himself somethin fierce
Yep, they were the first opening slot, this was before their first album was even out. The lineup was Act 1: sleep token Act 2: lil Aaron Act 3: polyphia Act 4: issues
@@c.r.blankenship9040he definitely works as each member has a different type of energy to them… adding to the point of “music is for everyone”. I like him a lot more than Kubrick, not saying Kubrick was had
This was before they went mega viral, so yeah they had backing tracks for the synths for sure. I wouldn’t say “half”, but a portion of what you’re hearing here is backing tracks (any sound that isn’t guitar, bass, drums, or vocals)
4 years later and look at them now...surpassed my expectations and my expectations were high af
Yer goddamn right 🙌
The way you called this from a million miles away will never cease to amaze me lol
Many years later…. The YOOOOOO DUUDDDDEEEE!!!!! is perfect @1:45
Token rocked the house in Houston this band is going to explode in popularity. Sundowning will be a game changer when it finally drops. WORSHIP
Comments that aged well
Aging like fine wine hahahaha.
It was a game changer my favorite album of all 🖤
Hi, its the future and you were right. They are arguably one of the biggest bands on the planet now.
DAMN rightttt!!! THEYRE FUCKING AMAZING ❤❤❤❤
1:38 that moment when you yell the wrong words awkwardly loud...
TheWoodish “Say goodbye!!!” Lmaooo
AHAHAHAHAHA
I got second hand embarrassment from that.
why did I look at the comments before watching the full vid? now I cant enjoy the best part of the song without laughing hahaha
Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Front row doesnt deserve to be there. I wanna see em so bad in dallas this year. These guys are amazing and im obsessed
100% this crowd sucked ass for the show they were watching. Unbelievable experience
I mainly went to this show to see polyphia but they definitely made it onto my top 15 bands. Was not expecting them to be that good.
iraqi Fam shut up Eric
These guys have such a good stage presence. Just started diving into their live performances

That pinch harmonic 2:03 JESUS CHRIST

Damn that just add something good for this song
This guitarist was my favorite they’ve had. Not close
2:02 Pinch Harmonic
I miss old IV…
He was really adding the metal licks lol😆😍
Worship
I can see where I was at the railing in the front 🤣🤣 good vid bro
That swaggy "Ayyee" at the beginning
We'll do that too when we get a chance to see them live in far future hahaha
My duuuude. You get it.
@@cdsackett I'll be in touch.. I'll make sure you'd see it too hahaha
that’s pinch harmonic at 2:03
Thank you so much for uploading this 🖤
5 years later, Issues call it quits and these guys are opening for Linkin Park in France omg
Im the beautiful bearded man in the hat at 1:32!
They went on tour with Issues??? How the hell did I miss that 🤦🏽♀️
I was thinking the same thing 😂
Yep, they were the first opening slot, this was before their first album was even out. The lineup was
Act 1: sleep token
Act 2: lil Aaron
Act 3: polyphia
Act 4: issues
@clayton please tell me you have more videos of this show..
I have one more video of Sleep Token and a bunch of Polyphia (weird backstage angles though)
@@cdsackett Yes please
what year did they change guitar players?? this guy had so much more energy.
It was a mistake that they changed guitarists, Kubrick had a lot more energy.
@@butsidnah, current IV has better chemistry with the rest of the band IMO

The breakdown is perfect for a moshpit 🤘
So fckng sick!! once again a crowd that doesnt deserve
1:24 why guitar player isn't playing this part o.O
Lo-Fi guitars sometimes aren’t performed live, just put onto the backing tracks. Quite a few bands do this actually!
The guitarist kinda moves like Josh Travis 👀
That'd be so wild, lol.
I'm convinced it is him
@@jed52 ankles and neck look white to me...
I think its definitely him the way he move and stage presence too
@@jasey8134 it’s not josh Travis lol
That drummer is so fucking tight jesuuuuuuuzzzzzz
when hozier hired a bad ass drummer.
The “YeeaaAAAAAAH” at the end sounds just like this fish from SpongeBob
Fuck I love this band so much. So unique.
Or can anyone recommend similar artists? :D
Este guitarrista se movía mucho más que el actual
“Say Goodbye”
"They don't suck anymore?" "No haha!"
Lmao nahhh he asked my buddy “oh you don’t smoke anymore?”
@@cdsackett lol. Gotch ya.
Always annoys me that the guitars are always so low in all of the live videos haha
Real question.....is half their sound pre recorded background tracks?
