  • Both times that I have been pregnant, I gained A LOT of weight, and losing it wasn't easy. I was an overweight, depressed and anxious mom and I was feeling stuck. These 3 Christian Weight Loss principles ended the fad dieting hamster wheel, I lost 85lbs, and I learned to love myself the way that God intended!
Here's a 5 day workshop that goes deeper into Biblical Principles to lose weight without being on a diet and find Freedom With Food: ffw.weighdownlifestyle.com/
And this is our Premium Weight Loss Plan that I followed to lose 85lbs: www.10dayweighdown.com/

How The Bible Helped Me Lose 85lbs
These biblical weight loss principles helped me lose 85lbs, feel a whole lot better about myself, and start living out my God-given purpose.
The Bible tells us that we need to:
    *Use Moderation*
This means that we need to eat in moderation and use portion control. Proverbs 25:16 says, ""Do you like honey? Don’t eat too much of it, or it will make you sick!" Yes, if we eat too much (even of good things), we can get sick! Not just physically ill in the moment, but eating too much causes us to get physically unwell long-term.
*Get Rid Of The Processed Junk*
So much of what we eat these days is processed. Sure, some processing is ok, but the closer food is to the way God designed it to be, the better. In the video, I talk about ketchup - made from tomatos, however most ketchup in the store is actually more sugar than it is tomatos! Wow. All of these processed foods and chemicals train our bodies to want more and crave more, which makes it really hard to lose weight. Let alone, all of the sugar you are intaking into your body isn't very good!
    *Love Yourself*
The last principle I talk about is a key one - LOVE YOURSELF. In Mark, Jesus says to love your neighbor as yourself. That means that you need to love yourself, otherwise it wouldn't be very good advice. Once we learn to love ourselves, love our bodies, and enjoy all of the many blessings God has given us, it takes all of the weight off our shoulders (and bodies!!!).
Make sure to watch until the end for my Lightbulb Moment on biblical weight loss principles that helped me lose 85lbs after my pregnancies.

    1. moderation and portion control
    2. eat less sugar and eliminate processed food
    3. Change your perspective. Why do I want to lose the weight?
love yourself to honor God and to honor the body that He gave you.
    4. Focus on the process of treating our bodies well , not the scale.
"I choose what I am putting into my body today."

I am constantly struggling with losing weight because of my mindset and the cost of eating healthier. As a single mom of 2, I often feeling like I have to choose between paying my rent and bills or eating healthy. 😬

After binge-watching weight loss videos, and feeling overwhelmed by the huge variety of advice (keto, paleo, vegan, low fat, low carb, intermittent fasting, OMAD, childhood trauma, chakra clearing and I'm omitting several dozen others), I was guided to you. My goodness, the solution was so simple (although not easy and will involve commitment). I don't know why I was led astray all these years, searching for an answer that was there all the time. The solution you speak of involves no expensive ingredients, no need to adapt your eating times or social circles, and no expensive cooking equipment or gym subscriptions or supplements.
When did I lose myself from the path of simple living and eating? I had been praying for an answer and you provided it. This is the last weight-loss video I ever need to watch.
Thank you so very, very much, and bless you.

Thank you for giving us hope and encouragement. After 6 kids I got hypothyroidism. It is much harder to lose weight even eating healthy. My nutritionist I used to have such, portion control. What is a serving.

Thank you for following us. Yes, hypothyroidism definitely makes weight loss slower, but not impossible. We know that with God in the journey, it is Possible ♥️. For the portion sizes that we use, please search for our video from March 23, 2023 called “The Secret to losing weight without being on a diet/Finding Freedom with food”. In this video we talk all about our portion sizes. Our 10-Day WeighDown plan also answers and explains how much and what to eat for losing weight. Hope this helps ♥️♥️

The problem with moderation and portion control is that it’s really more about calorie density versus nutritional density. Then it is about a particular serving size of a food.
For example, non-starchy vegetables are very low in calories, and you can eat a large amount every single day and it barely puts a dent into your daily calories gives you a lot of nutrition. Fruit is also lower in calorie and while I personally don’t advocate for a lot of fruits because too much fruit can’t affect her triglycerides. It’s still something that you can eat, and it barely puts a dent in daily calories.
Beans next on the list and then nuts and seeds in their whole form.
Beyond that are the higher calorie density food, such as nut butters meats, dairy eggs, fats, and oils. I know that high meat diets are very popular. Trust me I’ve done them, however nothing satiates better than loading up on a ton of the lower calorie foods first before even thinking about eating the higher calorie ones. So it’s more about calorie density moderation, and portion control. But that’s just my two cents.

    • @Ruth_Kayce
      @Ruth_Kayce  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

We agree with you - Your 2 cents makes a lot of sense 😆👍 It’s very freeing to Not have to count calories or carbs or anything so Our plan has done all that work for women so they don’t have to count anymore. 👌Keep on treating your body like a temple and you will reap the rewards ♥️🙏♥️

God haven't done nothing for me. I look at my old diary in 2017 I been praying for weight lost since than. I just got up my left arms start hurting and feeling weak. I'm over weight because of antipsychotic. I try to stop taking it 2 months ago but I listen to those doctors at human service. I'm 270 pounds close to 300. Where is you're God?

We pray that God will walk with you and that you will feel His presence with you in your journey.
