I got my PC in 2016. Rocking a GTX 960 and i5-6400 on life support. Going to upgrade a 4070 Super and i5-14600KF soon with a whole new system. I'm so excited!
@@jeannas9218 You'll love it. I undervolted mine. Super easy. gained 3fps and wattage dropped significantly. 235W down to about 165W. Plenty of tutorials.
The most ridiculous title I've ever seen when you can find a 4070 super for 550 right now. Its still and will remain the best price/performance gpu nvidia released this year. Nobody would ever say its dead. It's still the most talked about and ran gpu from nvidia thos year on reddit and Facebook from mid range to higher end users. I get the clickbait and stuff but come on you don't have to do that.
The issue here is that you say to wait, but this apply also next year... Because the 5000 super will come out next year; and then next year wait because the 6000 will come out... So if the matter is waiting, there will always be a better card. It is better to look at it from the perspective that buying a computer is like buying a car: it is a waste of money so buy what you need now and just don't think about the best deal because like new phones are coming out almost every year, a new CPU or GPU is coming out every other year, making the old stuff not relevant anymore, as games get better.
Well yes and no. I agree that you'll always be stuck waiting if you're worried about how much better the next thing is going to be. However in this case where we're in-between launches, it makes sense to wait a little longer to either get a better deal or a better product in the end. But obviously only if you're able to wait, or don't mind waiting.
@@TheTechTank If we talk about now as August, then yes, the delta of time between releases is shorter; but in general it is the same adagio every year or two; so in the end it really matter only for some people maybe... AMD cards can do RT too. Obviously not as well as Nvidia right now, but it's something and it's getting better and better. As for DLSS, AMD has a similar technology that does almost the same thing almost just as good. I see it all in action almost every day. It would be irresponsible for me as a reviewer not to also recommend products that deliver a similar level of performance while also costing less, drawing less power etc.
Ah so I see a nerd who clickbait’s lovely
Astute observation!
Why the comaprison to the 7800 xt and not 7900 gre
Didn't have a 7900 GRE to test.
Should have got a ryzen 9 5950x no bottleneck 100%gpu usage
That's not how this works. More cores, especially cores from a previous generation doesn't mean higher performance in gaming.
