What’s even more insane is that JJJ is 23 years old. He is so dominant that a whole controversy started saying that his stats are boosted
Been watching the Grizzlies since Ja got drafted and always believed he is/could be an AD type of player or better sense he can guard 1-5 and score at all 3 levels he just has to work on getting called for fouls less and continuing improving his self creation

It’s crazy how JJJ’s splits are for blocks at home 4.1 (16 games) and road 2.2 (17 games). He’s a great defender on the road and becomes Super Saiyan defender at home.

It’s tough to say because Draymond is probably capable of playing more minutes, and I feel he’s regressed some from last season.
Either way, to me they have to be the clear top 2 right now.

JJJ is an amazing defender but im sure u heard about the stat inflation scandal going on at home games for him? Honestly that might hurt his DPOY case but he's definitely still in contention for DPOY. As a Nets fan it's either JJJ, Claxton, or Lopez for DPOY

it's been debunked by a lot of guys in youtube and even some professionals, most of them said there are only 3/4 blocks that didnt really count. And am hoops even got even more advanced stats (i forgot what it was) that basically said him in the road is the 2nd best just behind himself in home games (again i forgot what stat it was)
Jaren just has to stop block hunting so much, once he does that he’ll average more rebounds. Dude jumps at every single pump fake thrown at him like bruh your 7ft with a 7’5 wingspan just sat on it, pause.

I'm not saying he's a bad defender. But it's quite possible his numbers are a fraud
This has been proven wrong, was just a case of statistical variance in small samples.
