Celebrating 5 years of Filmmaking.. (2023 Video Reel)

5 years.. thank you to everyone who has been apart of my journey. 5 years, but it’s actually been my whole life.
from being the little kid at the skatepark holding my dads miniDV camera to present day working on projects I’ve literally dreamt of, I always knew I just wanted to make stuff that I could say I’m proud of. From the beginning, it was never to impress anybody or meet anyone’s standards. I would film videos in my childhood front yard of me riding my bike, just to go inside and not like the way I filmed something and delete all the footage. I remember watching skateboarding DVDs and seeing fisheye footage for the first time. That led me to duct taping a peep hole to the front of my camera to get the same looking effect. I recall having this burn in my chest every time I got done filming something because I was so excited to go home and edit it together. Fast forward today, I can still say I get that same exact feeling.
I know I’m still early in my journey but if there’s one thing I can say… I’d say i definitely made my 10year old self smile. Cheers to 5 years. 🥂
