Wonderz I sat down with my grandpa and listen to his Vietnam war stories, and It was something I don't wanna witness or go through, but these brave man's who served in the war must be respected
You can talk to guys who are under 30 who are full of stories. Good, bad, and in between. Any amount of service, I promise you a person will have experiences. Especially in war. The military makes you live fast and hard, pleasure and pain.
"War is the deepest of darkness, but the bonds that come from it burn brighter than any hatred." my great uncle spoke these words at his comrade' s funeral.
While I'm watching this, I'm just thinking of my grandfather being in his Navy uniform. He passed away recently but if any of you still have grandparents, spend as much time with them as possible.
You could hear the pain in Joe’s voice when he was remembering finding the wedding band. I wish I could meet them and listen to their stories. I’d hang onto everything they say.
dutchweeks1 don't feel bad me too my grandpa served two tours in World War II and in the Korean War. these guys reminded me of him. he passed away a year ago we're losing the greatest generation every day.
This generation right here, there won’t ever be another like them. I cherished every moment I had with my pop (Grandpa) he was my best friend, I learned so much from him. I’m glad he’s resting in peace and reunited with my grandma, miss the stories, miss the company, the laughs, the games of chess and so many more things, he and so many like him are what I would consider to be true Men, rough upbringing, hard labor, no social media or phones to get all tied up in. It’s different now. People if you still have your grandparents or great grandparents enjoy every moment with them that you can, I’m glad I did and that’s coming from me a 30 year old man. God bless!
"Hey Max." "Joe Beale!" That is the most heart warming start to a reunion I have ever seen, you can tell they have been begging to see each other for a long time.
Flamma stfu first of all the japanese were under a bad emperor japanese hated it him but they have tofollow what he said and used the millitary as his guard
Getting old scared the shit outta me. But getting old without having contributed to the human race in some way… I guess I can’t really think of the words. Thank you so so much for your service.
My grandfather was in WW11. He lived until Valentine's Day and now everybody in my family is going through so much and we miss him because he fought for us and we will remember him.
I easily lose faith in our current generation but I have endless respect for every person alive during ww2 vet or not. I am happy to see this video has no dislikes that is enough to restore respect for our current generation. God bless all ww2 vets.
all the young veterans are doing so much for us alr we should also support them for what they've done for us. there are so many projects helping the veterans like HAVE NFTs
My Dad was a Navy vet from WW II, and God bless him and all who served. He was not old enough to enlist until late in the war, but the minute he was able, he enlisted. He told me his father, a very tough man, cried when he enlisted, as he was sure he was going to lose his son. Thankfully, this didn't happen (or I wouldn't be writing this, among other things!) My best friend's father-in-law also served in the Navy, on an oiler, which was the "gas station" for other ships, and his ship was hit by a Japanese shell and blew up, killing most on the ship, and leaving him with burns so severe it was a miracle he survived. His scars from the fires he survived left him wearing long sleeved shirts and long pants, even when the weather was very hot, to cover the scars. I can only imagine what kind of toughness enabled him to survive. I repeat, God bless our vets.
My family and ancestors all served in the forces. I found out about last week about my great grandpa, someone my grandfather never talked about. My grandfather is old, and sick, and has been telling me so many family stories recently it's opened my eyes. My great grandfather was in the US air force during World War 2, bomber pilot. I watch videos like these, and I see these old pictures and it makes me wonder where my great grandfather was, what he was doing, and the pain and struggle he went through when the photos were taken. It's hard to think that in 10 years, or even less, this insanely strong generation will be gone.
god bless the greatest generation. my parents are from that generation. i feel so lucky and proud to be in their family. dad was in omaha beach. he's gone now. mom's still with us.
My grandpa was serving in Polish Army when WWII started... He was 26 when germans came and want to occupate our country. He was artillery man fought in the biggest battle of Polish campaign, in battle over Bzura river... He survived but the pictures he has seen... My god... God bless him, he died in july 2000,i was born in december... Sometimes i think that he had to die to give place to me and to born again in my body... I love him so much... I miss him...
the fact that i have a beaming smile across my face from start to finish, really says something. I wish I had the honoured of shaking the hands of these men.
I wish there was really a fountain of youth, these guys deserve to live longer. Watching them made me wanted to cry, bless those men who fought for our future. Amen.
Old soldiers don't die, they just fade away. These people are true heroes, saving lives and and bringing peace to the humanity. It has been more than 70 years since the end of WWII, wish I could have the chance to visit and interview those veterans and ask them, "Looking at the world we have built today, are you satisfied with the current world?"
xx_AlexSoMlg_xx I'm 18 but I feel like I should be 80 years older. There never was another generation like this, and their fading away. They are in their last years while we are young on this earth. God, what a time to be alive.
Considering these men survived the most destructive war of all rime, which immediately followed the largest economic downturn of all time, I'd say my edginess is justified.
Amazing story war veterans reunion their longevity I wasn't born yet during the time they we're here in the Philippines during ww2.... looking at them is an emotional thing for coz the bond they have is quite unique inspiration to our new generation.... God bless...
Hi, Im from tbe Netherlands, and even though the warscenes in Asia might not have directly changed the way the war in Europe went, I still wanna say a big thank you to all allied veterans who fought in this nasty war. Thank you for the freedom I live in today!

It's always the best to see old people happy because they are lonely they just sit at home and it's always the best when old people are happy
You could hear the pain in Joe’s voice when he was remembering finding the wedding band. I wish I could meet them and listen to their stories. I’d hang onto everything they say.
Old people are so precious, they along with infants/toddlers deserve all the love in the world :'((((
