    I’m watching all of your old videos, and I’d like to know where you got the switches for your lights at. If you can even still get them.

    you could ove cut a hole in the seat and put the brake light in the hole and put the wires under the seat

      Maybe it would have been to big of a hole? idk

    Good video man. Had a question. Going to order new grips for 78 cb750. Do I need to also get new throttle handle? Or will new grip fit over throttle handle? Thanks

    Links to the kill switch, start button, & handle bar switches?

    Hi there! Did u think about installing a motogadget m-unit? I read about it, and it seems to clean the whole cable mess up pretty good.. ?

    Thanks for sharing your videos. Lots of good info.
    Do you think the LED strip would've looked ok just stuck on the hoop and basically tucked right up against the seat? I don't really like the idea of just taping those on the hoops but with the seat overhang and the hoop eventually black it might've looked pretty seamless and not as clunky as one might think.
    Also, I wonder if you could've gotten away with cutting/grinding a little slit in the hoop where you mounted that round tail light. Could've gotten it tucked in more tight. Probably still have issue with wire, unless you drilled a hole in the hoop for that.
    Anyway, just my two cents.
    Thanks again for taking the time to make the videos.

      I looking into that but I wasn't confident enough that it would have turned out as I planned. I would have loved to integrate it into the hoop. Maybe on the next one. Thanks for watching.

      taping them works a treat, i was sceptical too but it works well and allows for future style changes and easy replacement if it breaks

    Hey like the vids, curious what blinkers are those? Also any ideas on how to mount them without having a welder would be nice too lol.

      amzn.to/2e1j5De These are the indicators I used. They are designed to mount where there is a hole for the mount to go through. Depending on what you have to work with you might be able to get away with just drilling a hole into something and mounting them that way.

    I'm enjoying the vids thanks but I have a couple of Q's you might be able to help me with as I am finding it difficult to get answers else where. Do you know if CB550 wheels fit a 1976 CB400 super sport, its a long shot question but if the answer is no then I can just move on with the exiting wheels and forget about trying

      I don't know off hand. If I had to guess I would think they would. If you need any measurements off of my wheels let me know and I can get them for you.

    Did you have to put in a resistor to get the LED blinkers to work? Have the same ones but having problems with them.

      You will need to change out the flasher relay to one designed for LEDs this is the one I use amzn.to/2iTkt7E

    Where did you get that break light?

    • @ClassicOctane
      @ClassicOctane  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a universal light off of ebay or amazon that came with the license place mount. I cut it in half and welded it to the hoop

    Where did you get the gas cap?

    • @ClassicOctane
      @ClassicOctane  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm using the factory gas cap with a new latch from Joker Machine.

    Where'd you get the speedo, and what was the brand?

    • @ClassicOctane
      @ClassicOctane  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I ordered it on Ebay. The one I got is a universal one and i'm not sure of the brand. I know Drag Specialities makes some that are very similar. With and without the warning lights. Just make sure to get the correct ratio (2240:60 for Honda's)

    you can't start a bike like that with a button... theres the kickstart for a reason...... to make you look fokin badass when you get on your bike after throwing a cigarrete...... Great bike by the way, great project, but it bugs me that you will start a motor like that with a button as if it was a delicate princess..... good rides anyway, the bike still kicks ass

      Don't worry the Triumph i'm building is only kick start. I will have no option but to look like a badass.
